Sunny Days as Such
A/N: Okay... This is my second FMA fic and only my first attempt on writing (hinted) Elricest... XD;
Disclaimer: FMA not mine.
Alphonse Elric looked out the window. The blue sky seems to stretch endlessly before his eyes. It was a clear sunny day. The kind of day their mother would say to be perfect time to do the laundry.
Doing the laundry is a chore, but Alphonse never complained about it. Laundry with his older brother and mother never seems boring. There'll be lots of splashing around, and the cool water that attacked his face felt so good on sunny days as such.
However now, he couldn't feel water splashing upon him anymore. When water splashes on him, the only way to know is just to see.
On days like this long ago, Alphonse remembered.
He, Winry and Edward would run up and down the stream. There was others for sure, yet Winry and Edward were the only ones who were craved into his memory. But especially Edward, Alphonse let out a soft chuckle remembering the day his brother fell into the stream and screamed for dear life, only to find out the stream was only knee-deep.
"What're you thinking about Al?" a voice broke off Alphonse train of thought, it was Edward. "Nothing" Alphonse said. Edward sighed. "Let's go out" he announced.
Alphonse tilted his head to one side. "Huh?"
"It's a shame, if in a sunny day like this, we waste all of our time inside, I know you're tired from our journey, but the sun always perk you up since ever I could remember" Edward smiled.
If Alphonse could he would smile back. He stood up and Edward could see his eyes shimmers. "Let's go, niisan."
Thinking about the past is great.
But having fun in the present is better.
It is much shame to be alone- In sunny days as such.
