Alrighty, this is probably the shortest fic I've ever written. Call it a drabble, ne? It's yet another fic for "30 Kisses", this time for the theme "cradle". And just for the people who have been reading them… All the 30 kisses fics so far are one-shots! That includes the last one ("Believe in Me"), which people were asking me to update. I like how they end, and the rest is supposed to be left to the readers' imagination.

Disclaimer: Fire Emblem and its characters don't belong to me.

Note: Some of this had strikeout through it, but for some reason, it won't work on so it's underlined instead. In other words, aside from the title, anything underlined means it's "crossed out".

Early Baby Shower

It stood in their tent, pink and white and lavender, frills and laces and trimmings. It wasn't particularly large, no, but it took up a fair amount of space in their tent, which was already barely large enough for two people to move around comfortably. It was an enigma. It was a present from Serra, of all people.

It was a cradle. A baby cradle.

There was a note attached to it, written in gold on a rose-coloured piece of scented paper. Crimson and azure eyes stared. They did not know what to make of it.

Dear handsome Raven and that annoying cleric Lucius,

I guess you want me to say "congratulations", but I won't! I still can't believe you got one of the most handsome men in our army, but, in my magnanimous generosity, I shall deign to forgive you and even give you a present. It's an early present for the baby shower, so don't ask me for anything then! And since I, with my amazingly good taste, picked out a pink one, you'd better have a daughter. Now, now, no need to thank me. I'm just such a wonderful person, aren't I? And besides, I got Lord Hector to buy it for me. How did I know you two were together? Why, I know everything. Fine, it was because I saw you kissing. Kissing! In the middle of battle!

-From Serra, the greatest cleric in all Elibe

Raven blinked. "Lucius. She still doesn't know your gender."

The monk laughed nervously. "I guess she doesn't."
