To loose him and be loved or to love him and loose friendship
Disclaimer:I own nothing…it all belongs to the amazing and fabulous Mrs. Rowling!
As she entered the Burrow Hermione eye's darted left and right looking for him. Not that she expected him to be waiting for her, but one can always hope. Sadly, her eyes landed on Mrs. Wesley coming at her with embracing arms. With a warn hug she squeezed Hermione and ushered her into the living room.
" Ronald, Hermione is here." Mrs. Weasley called.
After politely refusing a glass of water, Hermione's gaze was direct to the famous Weasley clock. Dam. He was here. How was she supposed to be civil with him actually here? Honestly Hermione, he lives here. But her vague attempts to calm her nerves did not work.
' Hullo, you're early.' Said Ron coming down the stairs.
' Am I not welcome?' Hermione retorted sarcastically.
' No, of course you are.' Ron replied all to quickly, becoming slightly red in the face.
All she could do was smile. Ron was so sweet, why could she not love him back? Why, was love so complicated? Why did she have to like… Oh shit…he comes down now…and where was his dam shirt? He looks so …
''Hullo Hermione, you're early," replied a very befuddled and embarrassed George.
"Honestly, is being early a crime?" She yelled to two stunned Weasleys.
'Um, sorry … I am just going to go get my shirt..."
And with that a perplexed George left the room. Dam. Why had she overreacted so? As if Ron's baffled glances had helped her mood. But what made her outburst even more unbearable was the sudden snickering coming from the stairs.
"Hullo Ginny," Hermione said in a defeated voice.
For Ginny could see straight through Hermione's façade. She, and she alone knew Hermione's true feeling when it came to the Weasley boys.
