Pre-story note: It's not an autobiography, so don't ask!
"Jepeza! Get you're furry little blue rump outta bed! Your breackfast's getting cold!" Sam yelled to her only pet. Sam was relatively new to neopia and was still pretty poor. Jepeza the young blue Zafara wasn't asleep, but she was packing. This was the day Sam had promised to take her to the library, and boy was Jepeza excited.
"Just a second!" Jepeza yelled back at her owner. She threw her lunch (the only thing she could think to pack) into her backpack and leaped out to the kitchen. "I'm all ready, I just need breakfast."
"Well I'm all ready too. You must be excited about this trip to the library, I've never seen you get ready to go this fast!" Sam snickered. Jepeza returned the comment with a raspberry.
Eventually the two ended up at the library. Jepeza dashed inside and ran straight to the fictional novels. She searched frantically and quickly made a huge, 3 foot tall pile of books. Sam on the other hand, slowly meandered in, poked around the Zafara care books, picked out an interesting looking one, grabbed a chair and took a seat. She then began to read calmly. Jepeza made her pile next to Sam's chair.
After a few hours, Sam finished her book, put it away, picked up another and put it on Jepeza's pile. She then decided to see what her Zafara was going to check out. Fiction, Non-Fiction, Famous authors Biographys, Meridellian history, hundreds of NT issues, baby neopet books, something called As Told by ChildDragon and a couple stories by famous authors.
"Jepeza, how are you going to find time to read all this? Neoschools are starting in a few months!" Sam laughed.
"I'll manage somehow." Jepeza smiled as she added some books on CDs to the pile. They checked out and Sam had to hook a wagon up to her bike to get home.
Weeks went by and Jepeza spent less and less of her time watching TV and more of it reading her giant pile of books. She read and read until Neoschool started. She had to work to pay attention in her classes and ended up reading most of the time. Finally, she finished her books and got an idea.
"Hey Sam, can you go pick me up some notebooks and pens?" Jepeza asked.
"Sure, what class is this for?"
"Nothing, I'm thinking about writing my own story!"
"Alright, I'm heading over to the back to school shop later today, I'll pick up a few then." Sam sighed as she sipped a cup of Borovan.
After Sam got back, Jepeza started writing. She kept writing and writing. She didn't stop for anything, and she wouldn't let anyone read it. Sam started getting curious about what her Zafara was writing.
"It's a fictional story about two Meridellian lovers. A Lupe who's a warrior and his Zafara maiden." was all Jepeza would say when Sam asked about her story. Around Thanksgiving she started ending it.
"Hey Jepeza, we're going over to my sister's house for thanksgiving. You're gonna have to behave with your little cousins."
"Okay." Jepeza said as she finished writing another chapter of her story. She really didn't get along with Rebecca's little pets. Wolf the green Lupe puppy, Rex the blue Gelert puppy and Fifi the yellow Aisha all annoyed the heck out of Jepeza.
Thanksgiving came and while Sam was helping Rebecca cook the meal, Jepeza was naturally writing. "Done." she said with a satisfied tone.
"What's done?" Fifi asked her big cousin.
"My story I've been writing. I still don't have a name for it yet, but it's plenty long." Jepeza explained to her little cousin.
"Can we hear it?" Rex begged.
"Yeah please?" Wolf gave her the sad puppy eyes.
"I guess. OK, There was once a Lupe named Ashara and his beloved Zafara maiden named Isaha. Ashara was a strong warrior in the Meridellian army and often had to go away from homeā¦"
