2. I am the One Who Defies

I am Morrigan. Do you fear me?

I am the black bird that calls to you in the wind. That they say brings death. Will you run from me?

I ask you. Do you hide because I differ? Do you run because I am the one that haunts you at night? Tell me, child, why do you cry?

I am Morgana. I am the one who hides from your sight. I am the one who defies. Who, then, shall be there to defy me?

I am Morgan le Fay. I am the one you fear. I am the lone woman.
