Minako stared into her mirror as she absentmindedly began to brush her hair. She dropped the brush and it landed on her dresser with a clang. She stared out into the midnight sky. "Something I want most…I can't have."
1 Episode 205: Love Can Wait, Minako's Aching Heart
1.1 BRING BRING BRING
Sounded the school bells, announcing the end of the day. The four friends who attended the school stood under the large clock and discussed what they were going to do that day.
"I know, let's go see a romance movie full of drama! I heard about this one movie about a man and a woman-" Usagi started rambling the whole plot and the senshi sweatdropped. "Um Usagi-chan…you just told us the whole movie." Ami told her, Usagi thought for a second then put her hand behind her back. "Oopsies…oi Minako-chan, what do you think we should do?" Usagi asked her friend who was just staring towards the traffic on the crowded streets and not really paying attention to what her friends were saying. It took them a few waves of their hands in her face until she finally came back to reality.
"Nani?" A shocked Minako asked and nearly jumped out of her skin. "Mina- chan, are you all right? Your acting more spacey than Usa-chan." Makoto asked. "Oh I am…I didn't notice." Minako said, her voice a little airy. "Mina-chan, are you all right." Usagi asked with concern. Then Minako's face lit up and she ran down the school steps, she had obviously seen 'Three Lights', but she wasn't the only one who spotted them, they were instantly surrounded by girls that age. If others had seen this when they wanted to be near Three Lights they would have given up, but Minako was determined. She squeezed through the group so that she and Three Lights were face to face.
"Um…excuse." Minako said as she tried to get into to inner circle, finally she was face to face with them. "Yaten-kun!" She cried as she flung herself onto him, Yaten was shocked and embarrassed. Sure he couldn't deny that this was one extraordinary and cute girl but he wouldn't EVER admit that. It just wasn't his style. "Minako!" He yelled as he pushed her off of him. "Did you miss me Yaten-chan?" Minako asked, her eyes stared into his olive ones; he bit his lower lip trying hard not to blush. "We just saw each other in 10th period!" He said trying to sound annoyed with her. "I know demo I missed you sooo much!" Minako said ignoring the tone of his voice in his last statement. "Have you been forgetting to tell us something?" Seiya whispered in Yaten's ear teasing him. Yaten then couldn't hide his blush and his anger grew. "Shut up Seiya, it's not even like that!" He said through gritted teeth. "Minako-ju-just…. Just leave me alone okay?" He said in a harsh voice then he stomped off. Minako just stared after him, mouth hanging open and tears swelling in her eyes. Seiya noticed the tears and gave her a reassuring squeeze on her shoulder. "Ah don't worry Minako-chan. Yaten's just not feeling good today. Just ignore what he said, you know he doesn't mean it." Taiki nodded agreeing with his brother. "Yeah, just ignore it Minako-chan, we'll talk to him later." Minako just shook her head frantically her tears now falling down her face. "Iie, iie! He's never said that to me, he must really mean it. I'll-I'll just…leave him along from now on." Minako dropped her school briefcase and ran home.
Usagi and her friends saw the whole scene unfold and began to run after her, but she was fast for them. The four stopped in front of Three Lights and Usagi picked the abandoned briefcase. "What…what happened." Makoto asked. Seiya shook his head. "Yaten snapped at Minako-chan. That baka he went to far today!" Seiya clenched his fist into a small ball and continued to shake his head. "Minako-chan…" Usagi whispered. "I'll talk to her today, I'm going to take her bag back to her today." Usagi said with a smile on her face. "That's Odango for you, always looking out for her friends. Seiya said smiling, Usagi blushed and stared at the ground. "Well…err I guess I better go and check up on her. Ja ne!" Usagi waved to them and ran off with the briefcase.
Minako walked into her home, eyes wet and red. She rubbed them until they were puffy and a darker shade of red. Minako's mother walked into the room with a smile on her face, but that smile soon fell when she saw her daughter's condition. "Minako-chan…what's wrong?" "Nothing mama, I'm going to do my homework." Minako said with her eyes, she was halfway upstairs when she noticed that she had dropped it at school and that is where it probably was right now. Minako wiped her tears away, why was it so hard to get over 'him'? She had many crushes before and had gotten over them within a week, but this one was different, he was way different. "Yaten…" She whispered as she slumped down on a step and began to cry her eyes out.
Yaten slowly walked into he and his brother's apartment. It was dark and cold; it clearly told him that this wasn't the place to be for comfort. He hung up his fall jacket and threw his briefcase in frustration. He flopped down on the couch and covered himself in a blanket. Life was too hard for him, especially now. He knew why Seiya had wanted to come back despite the enemy, but what was HIS reason to come back, was there really a love life out there somewhere, maybe her two were like Seiya, love struck. Although he was the one who wouldn't show it, unlike his brother. "Sometimes…I envy Seiya. He's so calm when it comes to girls…unlike me. I just run them off." He buried his face in his knees and surprisingly he began to cry, then he chuckled sadly. "Look at me. I'm crying, over a girl…a girl other than our princess. Gomen nasai Minako…-chan."
"Minako-chan. A friend is here to see you dear. Why don't you come down?" Minako's mother called from the downstairs. Minako was sitting on her bed holding onto a pink colored teddy bear. She didn't want to be seen,sadness had taken over her body. There was a soft knock on the door, which Minako chose to ignore. "Mina-chan…it's me. Usagi." A voice said on the other side of the door. "Come in." Minako said with a hoarse voice. Usagi opened the door and showed her the black briefcase she had forgotten. "You left this at school…can we talk?" Usagi asked still standing in front of the door. Minako nodded but avoided making eye contact with her friend; she just stared at the teddy bear and clung it closer to her chest. Usagi sat next too her and put an arm around her. The cork holding in Minako's bottle of emotions finally popped off and Minako began to cry in Usagi's shirt. "Thank you (sniff) for coming to see me Usa-chan…(sniff) I really needed it." "Shh don't talk now Minako-chan, just...just let your emotions out right now. When you want we can talk about it." Minako lifted her head and wiped her tears away. "Iie, iie, I think I should tell you, just promise me you won't tell Rei or the others, it'll be our lil' secret okay." "All right…just tell me what happened." Minako burst into tears again but managed to explain to Usagi what happened at school, then she went on about her own feelings. "Damn it Usagi-chan! What's wrong with me? I have NEVER felt like this. Sure I have my share of crushes…demo Yaten is different. To bad he doesn't feel the same way I feel about him…" "Mina-chan. How do you know that? Believe me, Guys are just shy and tend to be a little harsh when they are embarrassed. You should have seen Shingo when he came across a girl at school he liked-boy it was pathetic! Point is, it's hard to tell with boys. It's either they stutter a lot a blush constantly or they act all cold and act as if your some stupid girl, when they really think differently." Minako managed to laugh a little and flash the bunny a smile. "You sure have learned a lot from you little brother haven't you? I'm surprised you and Seiya haven't gotten together yet."
"Seiya and I aren't the problem here so don't go changing the subject!"
"Truthfully, Usa-chan…do you think I have a chance with Yaten-kun?"
"Of course! You're so full of life and great to be around. Any guy would want you to become his new girlfriend…so tell me…shall I call him up?" Usagi asked with a sly grin. Minako looked at her horrified as she dangled the cord from the phone around her pointer finger. "Iie, that's okay Usagi- chan, but I want to thank you for being their for me today." Minako hugged her tightly. "You're a good friend." Usagi smiled at her friend; at least she was feeling better.
Yaten didn't say anything to Taiki and Seiya when they walked in, but not to worry since they two didn't exchange any words with him either. But when dinnertime rolled around Seiya couldn't hold in his anger, how could Yaten do such a thing then act like nothing happened? He grabbed Yaten by his collar and Taiki looked at him with shock. "Seiya!" Seiya ignored him and began to tell Yaten off. "Yaten you are such a baka! You know you really hurt Minako and you don't look the least bit sad or anything! What do you have to say for yourself." There was a glint of sadness in Yaten's eyes; Yaten turned his head so that they wouldn't see it. He spoke and a sad voice full of grief. "I know I was being a little…harsh on Minako…demo I didn't know what I was feeling towards her…she caught me off guard." Yaten then looked Seiya in the eyes with fierce ones. "It doesn't matter anyway! She's just a fan!" Seiya tightened his grip on Yaten. "What do you mean 'She's just a fan'?! She may be a fan but she IS our FRIEND you know! As well as Odango and the others…and Haruka!" Yaten glared at him. "You don't get it at all so don't act like you understand me." Seiya released Yaten and looked away. Taiki looked at Yaten and pulled him back into his chair then began to speak his mind. "Yes your right, Seiya and I have no idea what goes on in you head, how you think or how you express your feelings to people, but we do everything we can to try to get to know each other better, Seiya is just trying to help you. It's our job." Yaten looked away with tears in his eyes, like always Taiki had been right. Everyone at the table stared at him waiting for him to talk. There was the sound of keys clanging against each other they all turned and saw Kakyuu leaning against the front door looking at them, she was smiling sadly. "Princess what's wrong? Did that Mamoru hurt you?" Yaten asked rushing towards his princess. Kakyuu smiled at him and gave her warrior a hug. "No, nothing is wrong with me Yaten…it's what's wrong with you, I overheard you three discussing it and Yaten, now it's my turn to speak my mind on the subject. Yaten, I know you love Minako-chan so don't try to hide it, it won't help, and it just makes the situation worse. Try telling her how you feel, sure she may not actually return those feelings but she may grow to love you after she sees you can show your emotions, unlike now." Yaten bit down on his lip and looked down but then looked up at her. "Yes…" He said in a small voice, Seiya and Taiki smiled to each other. Kakyuu gave him an extra hug and then looked into his eyes. "So you are going to tell her how you feel?" Yaten nodded again this time a little more confident. "Good, now let's finish up dinner and then you three need your sleep, I heard you have a few tests ne?" The three nodded and the princess joined them at the table.

(NEXT DAY-SCHOOL GROUNDS)
"So do you feel better?" A cautious Makoto asked her friend. Minako tried her best to smile and nodded her head.
"That's good. We were all worried about you, you know you can talk to any of us about anything right?"
"Yeah I know, thank you minna. That day…well…it's in the past now and I feel fine, lets just forget about it." Minako said smiling a bit. She really didn't want to talk about yesterday, she had something else to think about. She really wanted to talk to Yaten Kou but was also to shy and afraid how he would act today, if he acted the way he did today then Minako would know for SURE that she would NEVER have a chance with him, and she really couldn't live with not being able to talk to the one she loved…
Yaten was walking to school alone today. The previous night he couldn't sleep and what pained him was that every time he did try to fall asleep the scene with Minako played over in his head over and over and over, he was officially afraid to go to sleep now. He looked into some music stores and saw various 'Three Lights' items and a contest called 'Number 1 Fan'. Prove that you are a number one Three Lights fan huh…Minako always bragged about how she was our number one fan-UGH! Just stop it Yaten…just stop. Stop thinking about her. You can't fall in love Yaten, as soon as we defeat this new enemy we will be going home to Kinmoku, falling in love is a dangerous thing to do…but I still do love her. Yaten stopped walking and leaned up against a electricity pole…he had just convinced himself that he love the Love Goddess herself, that took a lot of guts. Now that he finally said it he felt that HE had to say it…he had to here those three words come out from his mouth. "Watakushi ren'ai Aino Minako." Yaten mumbled. Not satisfied he tried again. Watakushi ren'ai Minako." He said a little louder. A few people turned to see the famous star talking to himself…something about love. NOW Yaten was happy. He smiled and began walk faster, now having a reason to go to school, all the while he was saying 'Watakushi ren'ai Minako!'
(Watakushi=I, Ren'ai=Love, Minako=well you all know!)
BRING! BRING!
The bell rang and students scrambled to their homeroom class praying that they wouldn't be tardy, Minako was one of them. When she made it to her room with Usagi and her other friends she sat herself down and tried to catch her breath. It was only when she lifted her head to take out her materials when she realized that Yaten sat right next to her, and to her horror when she turned to her side he was looking right at her making her heart jump. Oh! God! What do I do? Do I apologize? But what did I do wrong? He was the one who yelled at me…maybe I should just act like nothing happened, but what if he remembers and still doesn't want to talk to me? Oh kami-sama! What do I do? Nani suru watakushi suru deska?!(What do I do?) Okay okay! Breath in…breath out…in…out! Well I can't just breath like that when he's staring at me…Kami-sama! WHY is he staring at me like THAT? Okay okay okay…stay calm, the only thing that would be best is to ignore him, it makes it easier for me…and if he doesn't want to talk to me then he won't have to worry. KAMI-SAMA WOULD HE STOP STARING AT ME!!!!!" (WAH! That's TOTALLY ME!)
Minako frowned a little and took out a pencil and paper and tried to act as though Yaten didn't even exist, like it was just an empty desk. It was hard, REALLY hard. She kept feeling those olive eyes peering into her soul, it scared her and confused her, why was he doing this? Little sweat beads appeared on her forehead and she patiently waited for the teacher…wait did I say patiently? I meant impatiently! Very! Finally her eyes began to wonder around the room, she spotted Seiya and Usagi talking to each other then Seiya began chuckling at something that he found amusing although Usagi did not. He received a whack upside his head from the bunny. Then her eyes fell upon Taiki and Ami who were discussing yesterdays homework, the kept blushing and avoided making eye contact. So much unknown love was floating around the room. She knew very well that Usagi and Ami would become the girlfriends of those who they were talking to now but problem was…what about herself?
Yaten stared at Minako thinking over and over in his head 'I really do love her.' He suddenly became caught up in her beauty that he just couldn't take his eyes off of her, he was in a trance almost. He wanted to talk to her, he NEEDED to talk to her but what should he say? After all she was probably mad at him. He wanted to apologize but apologizing really wasn't his thing. The teacher walked in the room and all chattering stopped and the lesson began.

(Bathroom)
After her first period class Minako raced out of the classroom and ducked into the bathroom. "Kami-sama." She whispered and looked into the mirror. Her golden hair was tangled. She sighed and took out a comb.
"Mina-chan…" A soft voice called her. She turned around and saw the bunny of the Moon leaning against the door staring at her. "Minako-chan…what's the matter? You seem to be acting strange today." Minako hugged her friend and began sniffling. "I can't face him Usa-chan! I can't face him!" Usagi didn't even have to ask who this 'him' was, she knew right away. She knew how she was feeling and couldn't blame her, sometimes she felt that way towards Seiya. "Its okay Minako-chan, you just have to find the strength within yourself, you are the Goddess of Love, you should have no problem conquering it." "But I've never witnessed real love.." Minako choked out. It was true, all she had was school girl crushes, nothing more…he was her first love. The bell sounded and Usagi turned around and back to her friend. "Come on Mina-chan…let's go to class." "I-I-I can't." "Minako-chan you don't have to talk to him…no one is forcing you." Minako nodded. "I know." Now come on…but first lets pretty you up. No boy is attracted to a bloodshot girl."
Usagi began combing the sniffling girl's hair then dried her eyes and gave her some make up to put on. The depressed Minako was transformed into a sad Minako…it was a start. "Now come on…it's time to go." Minako nodded and sniffled. "Usa…Usagi-chan you shouldn't be worrying about me…you and Seiya have problems of your owns." "Friends come first now come on…were already late."
Yaten sat in his next wondering where the girl who captured his heart was. Where is she? Mina-chan…I know your mad at me, I wish I could apologize.
The door opened and Minako walked in with her head down followed by Usagi. Usagi whispered an excuse to the teacher and he nodded as if saying that it was legitimate excuse. They both bowed their heads and sat down. Minako…Yaten thought sadly.

School was over…Minako was no where to be found and Usagi was worried. She and her friends were in the gym sitting on the bleachers just talking…mostly about Minako.
"So she ISN'T okay…" Makoto whispered.
"Hai…she's totally depressed…she facing the side effects of love." Usagi explained while looking at her shoes.
Ami cleared her throat. "Let Minako handle this on her own, she is falling in love and she needs to learn how to win his heart on her own, not being told what to do by us…"
Usagi sighed. "I guess your right."

(Streets)
Aino Minako…where are you? Yaten was searching every vacant spot he could, anywhere where he thought the Love Goddess would be. "Minako…" He whispered, the wind carried his voice. He looked up in the sky and sighed. "Please…stop ignoring me."

(Another Part of Tokyo)
Minako leaned against a brick wall and sighed. One day down of ignoring Yaten…another 278 more to go!

(Dark Heavens)
Sky Blue was reading a magazine for teenage girls and blew a bubble gum bubble. "Ah young love…so innocent…great victims!" She looked into her mirror and it showed a picture of Minako. "So…love struck my dear? That's all I needed to hear!" Sky Blue chuckled and then disappeared, the abandoned teen magazine began to burn.

"Minako…just let me find you and we'll be able to talk. PLEASE!" Yaten was now running down the streets, more determined than ever. He WAS going to find Minako, and they WERE going to talk. No matter what she said and that was the end of it.
But Sky Blue had different plans. She descended to Earth and appeared before Minako. Minako gasped when she saw her. "Kami-sama!" Sky Blue laughed. "That's right…get on your knees and pray, because today is NOT your day!" Sky Blue took out her Color Crystal and held it out before her. "SHINE!" She cried at the top of her lungs. Minako was still in shock that she wasn't thinking right and couldn't avoid the attack. The attack hit her dead on and ripped the Color from her soul. Minako screamed and then she fainted. "Let's see let's see…Color Pink…aw the little girl is missing the love of her life? Well you won't have to think about that any more.
Yaten saw the whole seen unfold and felt like a little of him was dying every second. He shook his head and pulled out his transformation microphone.
Healer Star Power…MAKE-UP!
Star Sensitive Inferno!
Minako's precious Color was knocked out from the hands of evilness and fell to the soft grass. Healer stood in front of Sky Blue…she was ticked off!
"I refuse to let you hurt innocent girls…especially the ones I care about!" Healer stated with hatred towards the woman.
Minako's eyes lazily opened and she tried to come to her senses. She couldn't remember what happened but she DID remember a few words her savior had said. "Yaten…love…" The words were barely audible but Healer heard it and her whipped around at once. "Minako!" "Yaten…?" She asked, she couldn't barely move her lips, she was in so much pain. "Yes Minako…" Healer said as she held on to her hand. "What did you say…before?" She asked, she felt as if she were going to fall asleep again, but no! She had to stay up! "I said…I said I love you Minako Aino." Healer said with a smile on her face. Minako managed to smile. "I'm glad. I love you to…" Her eyes were getting heavier, she couldn't keep it up. "Yaten…" She whispered and fell back unconscious. Healer clenched her fist into a fist and stared at Sky Blue. "You will pay!" Sky Blue didn't take that as a threat though. She looked at her nails and blew on them. "You know…" She started. "I can't really fight you because I got this manicure you know and it would be a shame if I were to mess up this polish! Have fun with Teeny! Ta!" She disappeared with a smirk on her face. "Damn!" Healer whispered. The ground shook and began to turn pink. A teenage girl ascended from the ground. She stroke a pose. She had black hair and olive skin. She was wearing some flares with a tank top shirt.
"HI HI!" The demon said with a smirk. "Like I'm so happy to finally meet you. Like what was I suppose to do?" She thought for a second. "Um…I forgot! I'm totally starved! Like what about you? Do you have any chips? NO? Where's like, the next store?! Wait actually, I like think I shouldn't get any food, I'm like watching my figure!" Healer sweatdropped.
Jupiter Oak Evolution!
Teeny let out a shriek and began to cry a little. "Like, that totally hurt! I would get you if like, my nail polish was dry!"
The five inner senshi dropped from the sky and next to Healer. "Sailor Senshi!" She exclaimed happily. "Like there is even more of you? Like this totally won't do!" The demon said shaking her head.
The senshi sweatdropped. Sailor Moon held up her new wand. "May I?" She asked. "Please!" The senshi stated. This girl was getting on her nerves. Right now she was talking on her cell phone to only the Lord knows who!
Moon Angelic Whisper!
The light passed over the demented demon and she was no more. Minako's Pink Color re entered her body and Minako began to stir. "Y-Yaten?" She asked in a hoarse voice. Healer ran to her and gave her a big hug. "Minako! Your okay! I'm so happy." Minako smiled, she felt warm in her embrace. "Thank you Yaten…I love you." Sailor Moon smiled as did the rest of the senshi. Healer smiled and pressed her lips against the blondes. Sailor Mars smiled to herself. One down…two more couples to go!

DONE! I finished this chapter at 11:09 P.M on March 1, 2002! I'm sooo sleepy!

Sure he couldn't deny that this was one extraordinary and cute girl but he wouldn't EVER admit that. It just wasn't his style. "Minako!" He yelled as he pushed her off of him. "Did you miss me Yaten-chan?" Minako asked, her eyes stared into his olive ones; he bit his lower lip trying hard not to blush. "We just saw each other in 10th period!" He said trying to sound annoyed with her. "I know demo I missed you sooo much!" Minako said ignoring the tone of his voice in his last statement. "Have you been forgetting to tell us something?" Seiya whispered in Yaten's ear teasing him. Yaten then couldn't hide his blush and his anger grew. "Shut up Seiya, it's not even like that!" He said through gritted teeth. "Minako-ju-just…. Just leave me alone okay?" He said in a harsh voice then he stomped off. Minako just stared after him, mouth hanging open and tears swelling in her eyes. Seiya noticed the tears and gave her a reassuring squeeze on her shoulder. "Ah don't worry Minako-chan. Yaten's just not feeling good today. Just ignore what he said, you know he doesn't mean it." Taiki nodded agreeing with his brother. "Yeah, just ignore it Minako-chan, we'll talk to him later." Minako just shook her head frantically her tears now falling down her face. "Iie, iie! He's never said that to me, he must really mean it. I'll-I'll just…leave him along from now on." Minako dropped her school briefcase and ran home.
Usagi and her friends saw the whole scene unfold and began to run after her, but she was fast for them. The four stopped in front of Three Lights and Usagi picked the abandoned briefcase. "What…what happened." Makoto asked. Seiya shook his head. "Yaten snapped at Minako-chan. That baka he went to far today!" Seiya clenched his fist into a small ball and continued to shake his head. "Minako-chan…" Usagi whispered. "I'll talk to her today, I'm going to take her bag back to her today." Usagi said with a smile on her face. "That's Odango for you, always looking out for her friends. Seiya said smiling, Usagi blushed and stared at the ground. "Well…err I guess I better go and check up on her. Ja ne!" Usagi waved to them and ran off with the briefcase.
Minako walked into her home, eyes wet and red. She rubbed them until they were puffy and a darker shade of red. Minako's mother walked into the room with a smile on her face, but that smile soon fell when she saw her daughter's condition. "Minako-chan…what's wrong?" "Nothing mama, I'm going to do my homework." Minako said with her eyes, she was halfway upstairs when she noticed that she had dropped it at school and that is where it probably was right now. Minako wiped her tears away, why was it so hard to get over 'him'? She had many crushes before and had gotten over them within a week, but this one was different, he was way different. "Yaten…" She whispered as she slumped down on a step and began to cry her eyes out.
Yaten slowly walked into he and his brother's apartment. It was dark and cold; it clearly told him that this wasn't the place to be for comfort. He hung up his fall jacket and threw his briefcase in frustration. He flopped down on the couch and covered himself in a blanket. Life was too hard for him, especially now. He knew why Seiya had wanted to come back despite the enemy, but what was HIS reason to come back, was there really a love life out there somewhere, maybe her two were like Seiya, love struck. Although he was the one who wouldn't show it, unlike his brother. "Sometimes…I envy Seiya. He's so calm when it comes to girls…unlike me. I just run them off." He buried his face in his knees and surprisingly he began to cry, then he chuckled sadly. "Look at me. I'm crying, over a girl…a girl other than our princess. Gomen nasai Minako…-chan."
"Minako-chan. A friend is here to see you dear. Why don't you come down?" Minako's mother called from the downstairs. Minako was sitting on her bed holding onto a pink colored teddy bear. She didn't want to be seen,sadness had taken over her body. There was a soft knock on the door, which Minako chose to ignore. "Mina-chan…it's me. Usagi." A voice said on the other side of the door. "Come in." Minako said with a hoarse voice. Usagi opened the door and showed her the black briefcase she had forgotten. "You left this at school…can we talk?" Usagi asked still standing in front of the door. Minako nodded but avoided making eye contact with her friend; she just stared at the teddy bear and clung it closer to her chest. Usagi sat next too her and put an arm around her. The cork holding in Minako's bottle of emotions finally popped off and Minako began to cry in Usagi's shirt. "Thank you (sniff) for coming to see me Usa-chan…(sniff) I really needed it." "Shh don't talk now Minako-chan, just...just let your emotions out right now. When you want we can talk about it." Minako lifted her head and wiped her tears away. "Iie, iie, I think I should tell you, just promise me you won't tell Rei or the others, it'll be our lil' secret okay." "All right…just tell me what happened." Minako burst into tears again but managed to explain to Usagi what happened at school, then she went on about her own feelings. "Damn it Usagi-chan! What's wrong with me? I have NEVER felt like this. Sure I have my share of crushes…demo Yaten is different. To bad he doesn't feel the same way I feel about him…" "Mina-chan. How do you know that? Believe me, Guys are just shy and tend to be a little harsh when they are embarrassed. You should have seen Shingo when he came across a girl at school he liked-boy it was pathetic! Point is, it's hard to tell with boys. It's either they stutter a lot a blush constantly or they act all cold and act as if your some stupid girl, when they really think differently." Minako managed to laugh a little and flash the bunny a smile. "You sure have learned a lot from you little brother haven't you? I'm surprised you and Seiya haven't gotten together yet."
"Seiya and I aren't the problem here so don't go changing the subject!"
"Truthfully, Usa-chan…do you think I have a chance with Yaten-kun?"
"Of course! You're so full of life and great to be around. Any guy would want you to become his new girlfriend…so tell me…shall I call him up?" Usagi asked with a sly grin. Minako looked at her horrified as she dangled the cord from the phone around her pointer finger. "Iie, that's okay Usagi- chan, but I want to thank you for being their for me today." Minako hugged her tightly. "You're a good friend." Usagi smiled at her friend; at least she was feeling better.
Yaten didn't say anything to Taiki and Seiya when they walked in, but not to worry since they two didn't exchange any words with him either. But when dinnertime rolled around Seiya couldn't hold in his anger, how could Yaten do such a thing then act like nothing happened? He grabbed Yaten by his collar and Taiki looked at him with shock. "Seiya!" Seiya ignored him and began to tell Yaten off. "Yaten you are such a baka! You know you really hurt Minako and you don't look the least bit sad or anything! What do you have to say for yourself." There was a glint of sadness in Yaten's eyes; Yaten turned his head so that they wouldn't see it. He spoke and a sad voice full of grief. "I know I was being a little…harsh on Minako…demo I didn't know what I was feeling towards her…she caught me off guard." Yaten then looked Seiya in the eyes with fierce ones. "It doesn't matter anyway! She's just a fan!" Seiya tightened his grip on Yaten. "What do you mean 'She's just a fan'?! She may be a fan but she IS our FRIEND you know! As well as Odango and the others…and Haruka!" Yaten glared at him. "You don't get it at all so don't act like you understand me." Seiya released Yaten and looked away. Taiki looked at Yaten and pulled him back into his chair then began to speak his mind. "Yes your right, Seiya and I have no idea what goes on in you head, how you think or how you express your feelings to people, but we do everything we can to try to get to know each other better, Seiya is just trying to help you. It's our job." Yaten looked away with tears in his eyes, like always Taiki had been right. Everyone at the table stared at him waiting for him to talk. There was the sound of keys clanging against each other they all turned and saw Kakyuu leaning against the front door looking at them, she was smiling sadly. "Princess what's wrong? Did that Mamoru hurt you?" Yaten asked rushing towards his princess. Kakyuu smiled at him and gave her warrior a hug. "No, nothing is wrong with me Yaten…it's what's wrong with you, I overheard you three discussing it and Yaten, now it's my turn to speak my mind on the subject. Yaten, I know you love Minako-chan so don't try to hide it, it won't help, and it just makes the situation worse. Try telling her how you feel, sure she may not actually return those feelings but she may grow to love you after she sees you can show your emotions, unlike now." Yaten bit down on his lip and looked down but then looked up at her. "Yes…" He said in a small voice, Seiya and Taiki smiled to each other. Kakyuu gave him an extra hug and then looked into his eyes. "So you are going to tell her how you feel?" Yaten nodded again this time a little more confident. "Good, now let's finish up dinner and then you three need your sleep, I heard you have a few tests ne?" The three nodded and the princess joined them at the table.

(NEXT DAY-SCHOOL GROUNDS)
"So do you feel better?" A cautious Makoto asked her friend. Minako tried her best to smile and nodded her head.
"That's good. We were all worried about you, you know you can talk to any of us about anything right?"
"Yeah I know, thank you minna. That day…well…it's in the past now and I feel fine, lets just forget about it." Minako said smiling a bit. She really didn't want to talk about yesterday, she had something else to think about. She really wanted to talk to Yaten Kou but was also to shy and afraid how he would act today, if he acted the way he did today then Minako would know for SURE that she would NEVER have a chance with him, and she really couldn't live with not being able to talk to the one she loved…
Yaten was walking to school alone today. The previous night he couldn't sleep and what pained him was that every time he did try to fall asleep the scene with Minako played over in his head over and over and over, he was officially afraid to go to sleep now. He looked into some music stores and saw various 'Three Lights' items and a contest called 'Number 1 Fan'. Prove that you are a number one Three Lights fan huh…Minako always bragged about how she was our number one fan-UGH! Just stop it Yaten…just stop. Stop thinking about her. You can't fall in love Yaten, as soon as we defeat this new enemy we will be going home to Kinmoku, falling in love is a dangerous thing to do…but I still do love her. Yaten stopped walking and leaned up against a electricity pole…he had just convinced himself that he love the Love Goddess herself, that took a lot of guts. Now that he finally said it he felt that HE had to say it…he had to here those three words come out from his mouth. "Watakushi ren'ai Aino Minako." Yaten mumbled. Not satisfied he tried again. Watakushi ren'ai Minako." He said a little louder. A few people turned to see the famous star talking to himself…something about love. NOW Yaten was happy. He smiled and began walk faster, now having a reason to go to school, all the while he was saying 'Watakushi ren'ai Minako!'
(Watakushi=I, Ren'ai=Love, Minako=well you all know!)
BRING! BRING!
The bell rang and students scrambled to their homeroom class praying that they wouldn't be tardy, Minako was one of them. When she made it to her room with Usagi and her other friends she sat herself down and tried to catch her breath. It was only when she lifted her head to take out her materials when she realized that Yaten sat right next to her, and to her horror when she turned to her side he was looking right at her making her heart jump. Oh! God! What do I do? Do I apologize? But what did I do wrong? He was the one who yelled at me…maybe I should just act like nothing happened, but what if he remembers and still doesn't want to talk to me? Oh kami-sama! What do I do? Nani suru watakushi suru deska?!(What do I do?) Okay okay! Breath in…breath out…in…out! Well I can't just breath like that when he's staring at me…Kami-sama! WHY is he staring at me like THAT? Okay okay okay…stay calm, the only thing that would be best is to ignore him, it makes it easier for me…and if he doesn't want to talk to me then he won't have to worry. KAMI-SAMA WOULD HE STOP STARING AT ME!!!!!" (WAH! That's TOTALLY ME!)
Minako frowned a little and took out a pencil and paper and tried to act as though Yaten didn't even exist, like it was just an empty desk. It was hard, REALLY hard. She kept feeling those olive eyes peering into her soul, it scared her and confused her, why was he doing this? Little sweat beads appeared on her forehead and she patiently waited for the teacher…wait did I say patiently? I meant impatiently! Very! Finally her eyes began to wonder around the room, she spotted Seiya and Usagi talking to each other then Seiya began chuckling at something that he found amusing although Usagi did not. He received a whack upside his head from the bunny. Then her eyes fell upon Taiki and Ami who were discussing yesterdays homework, the kept blushing and avoided making eye contact. So much unknown love was floating around the room. She knew very well that Usagi and Ami would become the girlfriends of those who they were talking to now but problem was…what about herself?
Yaten stared at Minako thinking over and over in his head 'I really do love her.' He suddenly became caught up in her beauty that he just couldn't take his eyes off of her, he was in a trance almost. He wanted to talk to her, he NEEDED to talk to her but what should he say? After all she was probably mad at him. He wanted to apologize but apologizing really wasn't his thing. The teacher walked in the room and all chattering stopped and the lesson began.

(Bathroom)
After her first period class Minako raced out of the classroom and ducked into the bathroom. "Kami-sama." She whispered and looked into the mirror. Her golden hair was tangled. She sighed and took out a comb.
"Mina-chan…" A soft voice called her. She turned around and saw the bunny of the Moon leaning against the door staring at her. "Minako-chan…what's the matter? You seem to be acting strange today." Minako hugged her friend and began sniffling. "I can't face him Usa-chan! I can't face him!" Usagi didn't even have to ask who this 'him' was, she knew right away. She knew how she was feeling and couldn't blame her, sometimes she felt that way towards Seiya. "Its okay Minako-chan, you just have to find the strength within yourself, you are the Goddess of Love, you should have no problem conquering it." "But I've never witnessed real love.." Minako choked out. It was true, all she had was school girl crushes, nothing more…he was her first love. The bell sounded and Usagi turned around and back to her friend. "Come on Mina-chan…let's go to class." "I-I-I can't." "Minako-chan you don't have to talk to him…no one is forcing you." Minako nodded. "I know." Now come on…but first lets pretty you up. No boy is attracted to a bloodshot girl."
Usagi began combing the sniffling girl's hair then dried her eyes and gave her some make up to put on. The depressed Minako was transformed into a sad Minako…it was a start. "Now come on…it's time to go." Minako nodded and sniffled. "Usa…Usagi-chan you shouldn't be worrying about me…you and Seiya have problems of your owns." "Friends come first now come on…were already late."
Yaten sat in his next wondering where the girl who captured his heart was. Where is she? Mina-chan…I know your mad at me, I wish I could apologize.
The door opened and Minako walked in with her head down followed by Usagi. Usagi whispered an excuse to the teacher and he nodded as if saying that it was legitimate excuse. They both bowed their heads and sat down. Minako…Yaten thought sadly.

School was over…Minako was no where to be found and Usagi was worried. She and her friends were in the gym sitting on the bleachers just talking…mostly about Minako.
"So she ISN'T okay…" Makoto whispered.
"Hai…she's totally depressed…she facing the side effects of love." Usagi explained while looking at her shoes.
Ami cleared her throat. "Let Minako handle this on her own, she is falling in love and she needs to learn how to win his heart on her own, not being told what to do by us…"
Usagi sighed. "I guess your right."

(Streets)
Aino Minako…where are you? Yaten was searching every vacant spot he could, anywhere where he thought the Love Goddess would be. "Minako…" He whispered, the wind carried his voice. He looked up in the sky and sighed. "Please…stop ignoring me."

Minako leaned against a brick wall and sighed. One day down of ignoring Yaten…another 278 more to go!

(Dark Heavens)
Sky Blue was reading a magazine for teenage girls and blew a bubble gum bubble. "Ah young love…so innocent…great victims!" She looked into her mirror and it showed a picture of Minako. "So…love struck my dear? That's all I needed to hear!" Sky Blue chuckled and then disappeared, the abandoned teen magazine began to burn.

"Minako…just let me find you and we'll be able to talk. PLEASE!" Yaten was now running down the streets, more determined than ever. He WAS going to find Minako, and they WERE going to talk. No matter what she said and that was the end of it.
But Sky Blue had different plans. She descended to Earth and appeared before Minako. Minako gasped when she saw her. "Kami-sama!" Sky Blue laughed. "That's right…get on your knees and pray, because today is NOT your day!" Sky Blue took out her Color Crystal and held it out before her. "SHINE!" She cried at the top of her lungs. Minako was still in shock that she wasn't thinking right and couldn't avoid the attack. The attack hit her dead on and ripped the Color from her soul. Minako screamed and then she fainted. "Let's see let's see…Color Pink…aw the little girl is missing the love of her life? Well you won't have to think about that any more.
Yaten saw the whole seen unfold and felt like a little of him was dying every second. He shook his head and pulled out his transformation microphone.
Healer Star Power…MAKE-UP!
Star Sensitive Inferno!
Minako's precious Color was knocked out from the hands of evilness and fell to the soft grass. Healer stood in front of Sky Blue…she was ticked off!
"I refuse to let you hurt innocent girls…especially the ones I care about!" Healer stated with hatred towards the woman.
Minako's eyes lazily opened and she tried to come to her senses. She couldn't remember what happened but she DID remember a few words her savior had said. "Yaten…love…" The words were barely audible but Healer heard it and her whipped around at once. "Minako!" "Yaten…?" She asked, she couldn't barely move her lips, she was in so much pain. "Yes Minako…" Healer said as she held on to her hand. "What did you say…before?" She asked, she felt as if she were going to fall asleep again, but no! She had to stay up! "I said…I said I love you Minako Aino." Healer said with a smile on her face. Minako managed to smile. "I'm glad. I love you to…" Her eyes were getting heavier, she couldn't keep it up. "Yaten…" She whispered and fell back unconscious. Healer clenched her fist into a fist and stared at Sky Blue. "You will pay!" Sky Blue didn't take that as a threat though. She looked at her nails and blew on them. "You know…" She started. "I can't really fight you because I got this manicure you know and it would be a shame if I were to mess up this polish! Have fun with Teeny! Ta!" She disappeared with a smirk on her face. "Damn!" Healer whispered. The ground shook and began to turn pink. A teenage girl ascended from the ground. She stroke a pose. She had black hair and olive skin. She was wearing some flares with a tank top shirt.
"HI HI!" The demon said with a smirk. "Like I'm so happy to finally meet you. Like what was I suppose to do?" She thought for a second. "Um…I forgot! I'm totally starved! Like what about you? Do you have any chips? NO? Where's like, the next store?! Wait actually, I like think I shouldn't get any food, I'm like watching my figure!" Healer sweatdropped.
Jupiter Oak Evolution!
Teeny let out a shriek and began to cry a little. "Like, that totally hurt! I would get you if like, my nail polish was dry!"
The five inner senshi dropped from the sky and next to Healer. "Sailor Senshi!" She exclaimed happily. "Like there is even more of you? Like this totally won't do!" The demon said shaking her head.
The senshi sweatdropped. Sailor Moon held up her new wand. "May I?" She asked. "Please!" The senshi stated. This girl was getting on her nerves. Right now she was talking on her cell phone to only the Lord knows who!
Moon Angelic Whisper!
The light passed over the demented demon and she was no more. Minako's Pink Color re entered her body and Minako began to stir. "Y-Yaten?" She asked in a hoarse voice. Healer ran to her and gave her a big hug. "Minako! Your okay! I'm so happy." Minako smiled, she felt warm in her embrace. "Thank you Yaten…I love you." Sailor Moon smiled as did the rest of the senshi. Healer smiled and pressed her lips against the blondes. Sailor Mars smiled to herself. One down…two more couples to go!
