"What?" asked John. The shock that she was not trying to kill him surprised him more then anything.
"We are in Midnights facility by the rules of his house you can not kill me," answered Renka slyly.
"So there was a catch to why she was so relaxed," thought John.
"Anyway it was nice meeting you Midnight but I must excuse myself," and then she added "got to get to an appointment with Lucie."
This seemed to humor Midnight. As he waved goodbye the girl disappeared with a puff of smoke.
"What was that all about?" asked John totally confused.
"She was here wondering about what was going on with all the demons and angels in the city."
"Wait, you were giving her information?" "She is a killer and I have to kill her eventually and you are not supposed to take sides."
