She was watching him again. He was always there, always beautiful. Her gaze was intense as she watched his hand move to and fro, from his cup of sugar to his mouth.

It was blaringly simple and amazing henceforth. He would turn a page and dip his finger, all in a fluid movement. Every so often he would stop and turn his gaze to her, watching to see if anyone was there. She would stay still and he would return to reading.

He didn't like being watched while he read. Or ate sugar for that matter, but she loved watching him. His movements were all memorized and any changes studied. A smile here, a frown there, an occasional look into his near by dictionary. But his hand would move, back and forth.

Just the tip though. He would lick just the tip of his finger and dip it into the cup. Slowly he would lap the sweat coating off and start over again. All the while being able to read through books and not ruin them. It fascinated her.

She had not once asked herself why, but had opted for the childish need to know. What drew her here every day was a mystery but it was a beautiful one. That was the word for this ritual she supposed, beautiful. A sunset with him in the foreground, beautiful.

She held her breath as he stopped again and looked in her direction. His eyes searching everything in the room. Finally he stood up, unwilling to part with his sugar cup. He knew, and she knew it would happen too. Violet came out of her hiding spot and stood tall to show him she wasn't afraid. Klaus smiled, as he stopped not a foot away. Far too close for Violet's liking.

He tilted his head and held the cup out. "Want a lick?" Violet blushed and nodded her head. "Lick your finger first, more will stick if you do." Violet nodded and slowly licked her finger. He held the cup out for her and she took a dip. He smiled again, "Good isn't it?" Violet nodded as she licked it off. His smile and gotten slyer and he offered her the cup again.

Her own slice of heaven, just waiting for a dip.
