Author's Note:

This is a bit of nonsense really. I was just sitting around, and I wrote it. No flames. I know it's not realistic at all,but that is the way it was meant to be.

The Phantom's Adventures in the Opera

Being the first part of 'The Phantom's Adventures in the Opera'

One day, the phantom was waiting around for an opera performance to start. For some reason, he didn't feel like sitting in box five, so he swooped down into the audience and sat next to a funny-looking old man.

"Hello," the phantom said, turning his head dramatically to face the old man, then turning it dramatically back to watch the performance. Christine walked on stage and began to sing a song, and the phantom listened for a moment, before he got bored and started looking around the theatre for a way to escape without being noticed.

Suddenly, he saw something a bit out of the ordinary. In the middle of the center isle, was a huge, 20-foot-tall tree. He decided that he wanted to get a better look at it, so he got down on the floor and rolled underneath the seats until he was close enough to the tree so that he could crawl across the floor and climb it. No one saw him.

When he reached the top of the tree, he looked around. The wind was blowing, and he became upset when his wig blew off. He became even more upset when it flew back up and hit him in the head. He put it on and situated it correctly, before trying to figure out how it was that the wind was blowing inside the opera house.

He looked down and saw that there were four men moving his tree down the isle. "Hey!" he called. "What are you doing?" They didn't respond. The continued to travel down the isle, and the phantom realized too late that the tree was too tall for the doorway they were trying to get it through, and, since he was at the top of the tree, he was knocked off backward, and he landed with a resounding 'THUMP' on the floor.

People turned and stared at the strange black blob in the isle. The phantom quickly hopped onto his feet and cleared his throat, flipping his cape back and forth before running after the people who had stolen his tree.

"HALT!" he cried before they could exit the opera house. They looked at him funny. "That is my tree," he continued.

"Says who?" they countered.

"Says me. Now, I will make you a trade. Just wait one moment." The phantom hurried away and kidnapped Raoul. He changed Raoul's look a bit before returning and making his offer.

"I will trade you this lovely young woman for that tree." The strange men looked at each other, shrugged and took Raoul, leaving the tree for the phantom. He laughed maniacally for a while, when he noticed a dark shadow behind him.

"Oh. Hello, Madame Giry."

"Hello. What are you doing with that tree?"

"It is my tree, and now I am taking it to my lair."

"Your tree?"

"Yes. My tree. I even gave it a name. Charles. I'll be going now." The phantom climbed up to the top of his tree, and the floor opened up. Charles and the phantom fell through the floor (almost), but unfortunately, the special floor door was only programmed to stay open for a few seconds – not long enough for the tip of the tree (and the phantom) to get through. He landed on the floor next to Charles' head and Madame Giry's feet.

Standing up in a flash, the floor door reopened and he jumped down with Charles' head. Once he reached the bottom, he hurried to his lair and grabbed his soldering gun, his staple gun, his hot glue gun, and his super glue, and he skillfully reattached Charles' head.

He admired his work for a moment before dashing back upstairs and sitting in his seat next to the funny-looking old man. Christine was singing a new song and there were some men in the isle. They appeared to be looking for something, so the phantom ran up to them and asked them what was going on.

"What is going on here?"

One of the men responded, "Well, for the performance, we were supposed to bring a tree up for Ms. Daae to climb, but now it's gone!"

The phantom thought for a moment. "I haven't seen any trees, lately. But I'll let you know if one turns up."
