Seven

Silently destroying your mind

Possessing your body, your thoughts, your soul

Seven Sins making you make a thousand mistakes

Lust, with her misleading, venomous beauty

Gluttony, consuming much more than that food in front of you

Envy, shape shifting your desire from material to material

Sloth, telling you to slum your life away

Pride, blinding you to the world

Wrath, causing you to fight wars that don't need to be fought

And then Greed, making you ignore what's important just so you can have what you want

They work together, slowly dragging you down

And the further down you're dragged, the more you forget

You forget your love, your conscience, your dreams

And once every bit of you is torn, they leave you

They leave you to bumble in the darkness

And when they do leave, they laugh at you

And call you a fool
