….Tibby had just arrived at NYU. Her gifts from the girls. The photos and the portraits were tucked close to her in her messenger bag. Her pants charm from Bee dangled around her neck. She gulped dangerously praying she could get to her single dorm room as soon as possible. She went to the open area where packets were being handed out. She found the Woman handing out the 'T''s

"Hi, Tomko-Rollins, Tabitha?"

The petite redheaded woman blinked a few times.

"Sorry could you spell that?"

Tibby laughed.

"Oh yeah, T-O-M-K-O dash R-O-L….."

"Got it!" said the woman pulling a packet out and stopping to read a bright yellow post-it stuck to Tibby's papers. She sucked back a breath. "Oh, bad luck…."

"Huh? What is it?"

The redhead gave a sympathetic look,

"You've been switched to a two-person dorm…. Your rooming with a 'Mira Bellsmith' now…." She handed over the packet for Tibby to read herself, "sorry about that…."

Tibby re-read the post-it and sighed. What rotten luck. Well the least she could do was claim the good bed.

"Do you know if she's checked in yet?"

"Well I don't but for you I'll find out." Smiled the woman who whipped out a cell phone. She dialed a number and gave Tibby a sly smile. "One of my good friends is on the 'B''s" she confided. Then "Hey Sarah! Sup? Ha ha, sounds cool. Listen sweetheart I need to know if a 'Bellsmith' has picked up her package yet? Mira?" there was a small pause and then "Okay, thanks doll, later!" The redhead clicked her phone off.

"She's got her package. If you got to your room right now she'd probably be kicking around in there.

"Alright, thanks anyways." Said Tibby in a falsely light-hearted fashion. Her mood had sunk seriously. So now she was saddled with some girl named 'Mira' who she was about to be forced to like….or tolerate at least….

Tibby took a deep breathe and glanced at her campus map. Trying to find her way to her new dorm….

….After all there was nothing to do now but meet the girl.
