Time..so calm yet, turbulent. So much, SO very much like my own life. At the surface, i was a normal, well, as normal as I could possibly have been under the pitiful circumstances of my adolescent years. I DID attend Hogwarts School of Witchcraft and Wizardry, until the middle of my sixth year. That's when theSO CALLEDMINISTRY OF MAGIC decided to toss my sixteen year old scrawny ass into the most dreaded prison in the world, for a crime I didn't commit. That's right, they threw me, the "Golden Boy" into Azkaban, without a trial.

FLASHBACK

The door to the Transfiguration classroom burst open, revealing a maniacal looking Cornelius Fudge, and if it were at all possible, a VERY much pissed off Professor Albus Dumbledore, with a few Aurors who looked almost as upset. The sixth year Transfiguration class whirled about, looking at the cause of the disruption. Upon seeing who it was, and the looks on the faces of the Headmaster and the Minister of Magic, the class collectively recoiled in fright. Most of this was due, in no small way, to the very much angry visage of Dumbledore.

"HARRY JAMES POTTER! The Ministry has recently received evidence into the murders of Rubeus Hagrid, Percy Weasley, and Severus Snape. The evidence in our possession points you and you alone, to these heinious crimes of the lowest order! You are hereby charged with the use of the Killing Curse and Cruciatus Curse and for the torture and MURDER of these three men," Fudge announced in a voice dripping with disdain.

As one, the class gasped and whirled around to face Harry. Was it true that he had killed all three men? Everyone knew of the emnity between Snape and the Boy-Who-Lived, and equally knew of his dislike for the fussy, overbearing Percy. But...why Hagrid? He and Harry was very close, but...if it was true...and if the Ministry had evidence...

"WHAT! NO! I couldn't have killed them! H..Ha..Hagrid was my friend...and I...I trusted Snape...and Percy...," Harry sputtered.

"Harry, you were seen with known Death Eaters at the time of the murders. Furthermore, you were seen to have cast the Cruciatus Curse on all three, while the Death Eaters finished the job. The thing I wish to know, Harry, is WHY?" Dumbledore spoke in a clear, yet fierce voice.

Harry just stared openmouthed in shock. He couldn't believe that both Fudge AND Dumbledore, thought HE, of all people, could have done such a thing. Hagrid had been his friend, and as for Snape and Percy, they had both started to earn his trust at the beginning of the year. He looked around at Ron and Hermione, hoping to see that they didn't believe that he was capable of torture, of murder. They were his best friends, so surely they believed that he couldn't have done it.

"You...you killed Hagrid! And all this time I thought Malfoy had done it. AND YOU KILLED MY BROTHER! YOU FUCKING SON OF A BITCH! I'LL KILL YOU!" Ron spat in a deadly voice that reached a cresendo as he screamed and launched himself onto Harry, hitting him with all of the strength anger and grief could provide.

"Harry, how could you? Hagrid was our friend! And Snape...he was acting a whole lot nicer this year toward you. Why, Harry, WHY?" Hermione whispered, her voice shaking with anger.

Harry got up off the floor, as Ron had finished beating him. He stood there, pain etching a withered tattoo across his already scarred face. His own friends...they didn't believe him. The ones he thought he could count on the most, the ones he thought who would always be there when he needed them, did not believe him. Tears began to fall unbiddened down his face. He didn't even hear Fudge announce that he would be sent straight to Azkaban, without a trial, for three consecutive life sentences for each murder. He just hung his head, and cried...
