The day was alive and shiny on the harbor of ganymede; the BeBop sat idle on the bay while it's
occupants inside worked intentivly. In the ships grimy hangar stood Spike and Jet, both working on their
ships; the Swordfish II and Hammerhead. Occasional incoming ship's broke up the silence between the two
but the desolite feeling creeped its way back threw the halls.
"2 million woolongs, huh?" Spike said, catching Jet by surprise
"yeah, he ain't no big fish but he'll keep our asses fed" Jet replied while Spike put down his tools
"I don't know about this bounty hunting venture of your's, I remember getting paid 20 million just for
delivering a package from point A to po..."
"you know the day would go by a lot easier without the bitching" Jet interrupted
Spike muttered something ominously under his breath and the hangar returned to its silent phase
It's only been a few weeks since Spike tagged alongside with Jet, and the ice still hadn't broke.
Not even a crack in this icy partnership had developed. The days would go by in the BeBop where only
10 words were uttered in its interior. The obilgation known as "Business" would be the only exception
to the silent treatment.
Spike put his tools away and jumped into his ship, Jet followed suit. The sound of the engines
ripped threw the hanger and in a heart-beat the Hammarhead was gone. Spike sat in the cockpit, while his
ship still sat in the hangar, looking at a locket that hung gently over a monitor; he grabbed it and was
immediatly reminescent of a rainy blue day in which only the colors of red and yellow broke threw
"Spike!" Jets voice shot threw his communicator, interrupting his thoughts.
"You coming?" Jet said, gradually Spike let go the locket and put his hands on the steering analogs, and
with a loud boom flew his ship off into the blue sky.
Flying over the city of ganymede Jet gave his rheteric
"This bounty is in a gang called 'Virus Rojo', so we should keep our guard up" Jet said
"I know, shoot the bounty we don't eat. I'll try and differentiate between the gang members and our bounty"
Spike said.
