Prologue
Dear Diary,
I really hope nobody reads this! I'm . . . excited . . . confused . . . upset and worried, all at the same time. I know my father despises mutants, my mother tolerates them but still thinks the world is better without them, and my sister does anything Daddy does, so that means she hates everything about mutants.
'Why,' you think, 'am I writing about mutants all of a sudden?' Well, dear diary, I am a . . . mutant. 'How did I find out,' you ask? I accidently cut myself on a piece of glass that was broken outside and it healed by itself, in a matter of seconds!
Also, a while ago I had a dream about how my father read in the newspaper about a Marie something who put her boyfriend into a coma for three weeks just by kissing him.
I also happen to get bad headaches for no reason at and I hear voices in my head every once in a while. I-I can't take it anymore. I won't hurt my family. 'Why would I hurt them?' Because bone claws come out of my hands between my knuckles, three in each hand. I could hurt them with that and I don't want that to happen!

A/N Well, this was kinda random. Well, actually not really, but posting it up here was spontaneous. I'm actually up to chapter eight already, but I'm kinda stuck. So I figured maybe review's and constructive criticism might help a little bit.
A/N 2. Also, Spike will be the first to show up in the BtVS part of this fic. But he won't show up until later. Sorry!
