actually, a couple of years ago I read a fanfic
(sorry can't remember the name) about Marie talking to Logan about her plans
for the future and where she wants to go and what to see there, and her
description in this particular story was quite vivid – so I took this idea of
her dreaming, but never quite daring and set it back a couple of years when she
was still living with her parents and that's what I came up with

Behind the fences
Right outside of this walls,
behind the fences and trees
waits a future so bright
she has never seen
All the places she remembers
and the faces she'll recall,
though she has never left
her guarded shelter at all.
But her dreams already travelled
where her feet never roamed,
