Clouds
Shikamaru lay on his back, watching the clouds pass by lazily.
He heard footsteps behind him, but stayed quiet. Ino stood over him, looking down at him. Shikamaru glared at her slightly.
"What do you want?" he asked, looking back at the clouds.
Ino sighed and plopped down beside him, lying down on her back.
Shikamaru glanced at her curiously, but stayed quiet.
"What's so great about looking at the clouds anyways?" Ino asked, her gaze moving to the sky.
Shikamaru shrugged slightly.
Ino rolled onto her side, and propped her arm up, resting her head in her hand. Her eyes trailed over Shikamaru's features.
Shikamaru glanced at her and stayed quiet.
"What-…?" he asked.
Ino shrugged.
"Nothing," she replied.
Shikamaru was beginning to get annoyed.
"Why are you looking at me like that?" he asked, still watching the clouds.
"What's wrong with it?"
'…what is she up to…?' he sighed. 'Women are so troublesome….'
Ino reached forward and rubbed his nose.
Shikamaru looked at her strangely.
"Ino, what are you doing?"
"You've got dirt on your nose," Ino replied again.
Shikamaru glared at her, but remained silent.
Ino dismissed his glare and continued looking at his face. Shikamaru's glare was replaced by a calm look.
He looked at Ino's face, as she did his. His eyes traveled to her eyes and her lips.
Ino leaned in slowly. Shikamaru felt his face growing hotter. He tried to sit up, but was frozen in place.
Ino brushed her lips against his lightly.
Shikamaru felt as though he was melting. He kissed her back gently.
They heard a clicking noise in the distance.
Ino pulled away reluctantly and smiled at the blushing Shikamaru.
Shikamaru's blush increased slightly as he smiled back faintly.
They looked behind them to see Chouji coming out from behind the bushes. Ino and Shikamaru sat up quickly.
"Chouji, what-…?"
Chouji grinned and took out a camera. Shikamaru's eyes widened slightly.
"Oh no, you wouldn't- Chouji!" Shikamaru shouted.
Chouji nodded and began running away.
"Chouji- Chouji wait!"
Shikamaru got up quickly and started running after Chouji.
Ino sighed happily and lay down on her back, looking up at the clouds. She smiled as she noticed one that resembled Shikamaru. She heard yelling in the distance, but dismissed it.
"Chouji, stop! Chouji-!"
