Life isn't easy on a teenager who's been kicked out of school. Yugi thought, trudging down the sidewalk towards home. He'd gone though a lot since the Battle City Tournament. For one, he'd been separated from Yami, so they both had their own bodies now. He'd also been expelled from school. As a result of this last, he'd grown apart from his friends, to the point that they were really just memories, and faces he saw on occasion. Usually, he made himself scarce when they showed up at the Game Shop. Also, his grandfather had been taken by another heartattack soon after he'd left school. The Game Shop came into view, and Yugi broke into a run. Unlike Yami, who had the ability to stay inside all day if need be, Yugi liked to move, and ended up outside a minimum of three times a day. He went jogging mid-morning, either swam or worked out at the gym in the middle of the afternoon, and went for a walk after the shop closed for the day. He hated being cooped up for too long. This was to be expected. Over the last four years, Yugi had hit an extreme growth spurt, and was now a slender, 6'4" eighteen year old. Even Yami was surprised, and a little jealous. He'd been a short person in Egypt, and was exactly the same now. Yugi burst in the door, kicking his shoes off and pulling his jacket off.

"Great timing Yugi. Dinner's ready. Go wash up." Yami's voice floated around the corner from the kitchen. Yugi obeyed and entered the kitchen to find his yami standing at the stove wearing his ' Kiss the cook, or you aren't getting fed.' apron. "Why the long face? I've seen happier expressions on Kaiba."

"Just thinking."

"About what's changed since Battle City?"

"Gee, how'd you guess?"

"That's the only thing that can get you so down. Cheer up." Yugi grinned in spite of himself.

"How can you always make me smile?" He accepted a bowl of chili from the shorter male and plunked himself down on a stool at the kitchen island. He sniffed appreciatively at the food before tasting it. "Mmmm. Perfect, as always."

"I'm flattered." Yami chuckled, sitting down with his own dinner, and two glasses of milk, one for him and one for Yugi. Although Yami and Yugi's cooking skills were spectacular as well as equal, nobody, not even Yugi, could come close to duplicating Yami's famous chili.

"Anything interesting in the mail today?" Yugi asked, draining the last of the milk from his glass. Yami shrugged.

"I haven't looked yet. Why don't you look?" Yugi got up, deposited his bowl by the sink, and scooped up the pile of mail.

"Let's see…magazine for you…junk…another magazine, no, three more magazines for you…my latest issue of Dogs Life…letter from Tea for you… Sheesh! No less than twenty-seven fan letters. This is insane. We haven't been public since the Battle City Finals, and we still get this stuff. Yuck. Huh? What's this?"

"What is it?" Yami asked, looking at Yugi over the rim of his glass. Yugi was holding a pale blue envelope, which was addressed to him in dark blue ink.

"No way." Yugi whispered.

"No way what?"

"It's from Pegasus."
