You've been here so long
I've had you all along
I've been so naïve
It was something I couldn't believe
Whenever I was down
You were always around
You told me when the time was right
But then came that final night
We fight like we've never before
We pulled back, but you went for the core
I called out your name
But your mind was set on the aim
Fire shoots and storms
I desperately want things like before
I ran and held you
No one could ever be as true
"I'll find my way back to you"
With a last smile you turn a paler blue
In my arms, you begin to die
Everlasting tears drain from my eyes
A part of you will always be with me
When you come back, you will see
A beautiful girl now rests upon me
Her face you will see
She's a part of me as well you
I'll find my way back to you
