Chapter 2

Eric quickly ran through the roof as he heard the guest's arriving.

The thousands of people and their chattering voice's.

They almost annoyed him. His opera house was too good for the voices.

The only voices he wanted to hear was the voices of the performers, no matter what sound it was that was being made.

The endless chatter had to stop.

Eric quickly ran over to his balcony… He noticed that finally the voices had stopped. He could hear the conductor stopping the instruments cease. Eric quietly sat down in his seat. He waited… waited for the singing. Quietly Christine stepped up in a sea green dress. It was only her second performance.

"For the only one I see…

The Angels wait…

All pain and suffering… It pains me to see… It's all you see every day… You can't bare the pain I wait for… Your love is calling me… For more than a day… Your all I can see so please just stay… For me to learn once more about your grief… You make me happy when… Your smile is made… So when you see me next… Please give that to me…" Her one solo was a great breakthrough.
Madam had tears of joy in her eyes.
She had to see Eric.
She ran to his lair.
The humid climate didn't bother her, neither did the rats.
She had to see him.
Luckily, Eric was standing next to his swan bedroom, there waiting for her arrival.
"Eric… did you see her?
She vas wonderful… wasn't she?"
Eric happily replied, "Yes… she was…"

She quickly ran up to him, and she hugged him tightly.

Her smile was spread from ear to ear, "Eric, I lo…"
