AN: This fic is meant to be a bit"strange" and will therefore have to be seen that way. You can also see it as a second part to "Realise", and then read that first to understand the thought behind it. Read and review, please!

You're coming closer on a dark path, your face shining with glory. Though it seems as if I'm never going to see you again, the darkness around me fades away; that last look on your face, it made me smile.

Through the tears of love that fell down my face, my eyes are narrowed and red with the insight of my forthcoming loss. The loss of your life is painful, but the pain is necessary. Not the loss, but the pain, is necessary to keep me alive.

I will never forget the look upon your face that night you died, Ginny.

I heard your laugh. It was light and silvery like a bolt of lightning. Then something made me shiver, not of lust – but fear. When I turned around to see what had caused it, I saw your face, twisted in agony, and suddenly, you fell to the floor, and never rose again.

My heart flipped in my chest, my brain registered what had happened before my body would move. I screamed out in naked fear, I saw you still breathe, trying to survive. I sank down by your side, unable to stop crying, unable to breathe, unable to see anything but your face and your eyes, so full of love, fear, pain and tears.

It's terrible. Watching you fight, knowing there's nothing, absolutely nothing, I can do to ease your pain. I saw the last smile on your lips, when you realised that you'd be joining him soon. I loved you so, but you loved him as much as I did – and I forgive you.

Tell Sirius we miss him, Ginny, and go in peace. I love you.
