The sun feels so wonderful on my skin
As I bask in its beautiful glow
The body of my lover was warm
As we laid here in the park
It was comforting and quieting
Feeling his arms wrapped around me
As I lightly dozed
He called my name gently
Lulling me back to wakefulness
The light spring breeze blowing scents of flowers over me
Made me think only of my love
His lips to mine
Pushed all thoughts of sleep away from my mind
Though the suns glow dimmed
We thought of only one thing
Spring had come
