-Love Notes and Bath Robes
Blink—thanks for the ideas
Summer Roberts stood over her bathtub watching the water flow in
She had her pink bath robe on.
Seth always loved it on her.
Seth.
Her cell phone rang
"Hello?"
"Hey Summer..it's Kirsten"
Oh no this couldn't be good. Kirsten never called unless something was wrong. And Summer could tell she was crying.
"Kirsten...what's wrong?"
"its Seth...he's...he's...he's gone Summer. Took off on his sailboat. If you'd like to come over and see the note he left y—
Clunk
Summer dropped her phone and started crying. After about 30 seconds she heard "summer...SUMMER?"
Shit. Kirsten.
"Oh sorry ...dropped my phone..uhm I don't think I can come over now. Maybe later?"
"sure sweetie whenever you can"
She never did go to read that letter.
She wasn't prepared to read what was in it..
She looked down. The tub was almost full.
She wondered if they would miss her
She wondered if he would miss her
Maybe she should have read the letter. Maybe she should have answered when Seth called her
3 times every day
and then right on cue her cell phone went off
It was Seth
"Hello."
"Summer..."
"Look Seth I'm kind of busy..."
"Oh I see..well I just wanted to tell you something..it will only take a second..or if your that busy then maybe I could call back later or you could call me or.."
She silently laughed. No matter where she would go she would always miss Cohen with his rambling.
"it's okay Cohen..what did you want to tell me?"
Here it comes...
"I don't know why I left..."
"yah me either"
"But I do know why I came back"
"You what?"
"It's because I love you."
"Cohen, your home?"
"Yah I'm in at my house"
"You're too late."
"Oh. Is there another guy there?"
"No...that's not what I meant by late."
"Okay..."she could practically see the look on his face "well bye then"
"Bye"
She hung up.
She picked up a piece of paper that she had previously written
Seth,
I love you with all my heart. I need you and can't go on with out you.
I'll see you in Heaven.
Love you always,
Summer
Let's save this for a later day.
She turned of the running water, drained the tub and went in her room
"I love you too Cohen" she whispered before she fell asleep
I said maybe
Your gonna be the one that saves me
