Tears of Betrayal
Setting: Kamakasi's Island Observatory, Japan 3066
"Look up Vicious, look up!" I heard old man Kamakasi say to me.
Without question, I did as I was told, and looked up through the telescope and looked into the dark sky above. What I saw just dumbfounded me completely. I asked Kamakasi what it was, but he also had no idea.
After what felt like forever, he spoke up, and told me to go ask my dad. On my way home, this freaky old lady asked me what I had seen. I recognized her as Lady Kaede the physic who was told to know all. She asked me what I had seen again, but all I could do was stand there. I knew why she asked, I knew she was blind, I knew she couldn't tell what I saw, but yet she knew I had seen something, but what really haunted me was the fact that she knew I was there.
I could tell by her voice she was getting pissed at me when she said "boy, what the fuck did you see?"
I finally let out a squeak, and she started to calm down. "Vicious, what did you see?" she asked in a relatively calm voice.
I replied that I didn't know what it was. She just sighed, and asked me to describe what I had seen.
I finally got calmed down enough to talk, and said that it looked like a tear falling down from the heavens. A tear so bright and pure it looked like it could stop a war.
She just looked in my direction and muttered something that I guess I was supposed to hear.
I said what really loud, and she said that she wasn't deaf. She also told me to see the old story teller Kuwabara, and to mention something about a tear.
I did what I was told, and saw the old man and mentioned a tear.
He just started to sit down when he called me over to sit by him in the floor.
"What are you going to do?" I screamed, as I realized how late it was getting. If it got too late, and it was after sunset the gate would be locked, and I would have to spend the night at Ruki's again, which would lead definite suspicion from the neighbors. I also didn't want yelled at by my parents when Mr. Myamota told them where I had been.
Kuwabara started telling me a story that made no sense until the end, which is the only part I really remember.
The thing I saw was a tear from a great immortalized pair up in the heavens, a demon and an angel. It said that the demon would cry a pure tear every time it remembered that the angel had betrayed her, and sealed their doom in the heavens.
I made it home, and the tear was found behind my house, and to this day I continue to search the heavens for another tear.
Told, you it wasn't the best, but I put it up anyways, now to decide where it goes, it's not really Inuyasha, or Cowboy Bebop, or Yu Yu Hakusho, oh well, I'm putting it up under Cowboy Bebop because of Vicious. Okay, I'm outta here.
