Shakespearean Scene
By: Andrea
Characters: Blaise Antonio, Draconis Malfoy, and Harold Potter.
Note: The above names were pulled from the Harry Potter books and do not belong to me.
Scene 1Enter Blaise and Harold.
Blaise: Thou art a radiant gem in the midst of sand. How thy ebony locks shine and thy emerald eyes glisten in the moonlight.
Harold: Thou art very generous kind sir, but mine heart belongs to another.
Blaise: Give me his name and I shall slay him and claim thy heart for my own.
Enter Draconis.
Draconis: Ah Blaise how marvelous to see thee again. Wraps his arms possessively around Harold.
Blaise: Sneers. The presence is most unwanted thou should leave before I thwart thee with my blade.
Draconis: Thee, thwart I! Laughs. Harold is my betrothed and I will protect him until the day that I die.
Blaise: Then you shall die tonight. I challenge thee to a duel. The prize shall be to render Harold to the other.
Harold: Draconis please do not fight. I could not bear to lose thee.
Draconis: I most love. I will protect what is rightfully mine.
Blaise: And thou shalt lose doing so forever surrendering this beauty to me.
Harry: Thou shalt never own my heart or me for I have given both fully to Draco.
Blaise: We shall see. When I win I will change your mind or break you.
Draconis: Enough! We will meet hither in two bells time. We shall see who is superior.
Blaise: Very well.
Exit Blaise.
Harry: I wish you would not do this.
Draconis: And be labeled a coward, merely handing you over to that snake. Don't be foolish love.
Harold: I only meant that I would rather have thee with me than proving thineself to that unworthy footlicker.
Draconis: As would I.
Harold: Would you care to stroll and eat something before the duel?
Draconis: That would be wonderful.
Exit Harold and Draconis.
Scene 2Enter Draconis, Blaise and Harold.
Draconis: Come hither Blaise so we may settle this quarrel.
Blaise: With thine sword in the dirt, and mine through thine heart. Then at last shall Harold belong to me.
Draconis: You petulant fool! Thou art mine equal only in blood and thine shall shortly be spilled on this godforsaken ground.
Harold: Draconis in winning this duel you will prove thine love greater than his. I wish there was another way.
Blaise: We will settle this the best way we know how with steel against steel.
Harold: For in a battle of wits you would surely lose against my beloved.
Blaise: Sneers. Enough jabbering let us settle this now.
Draconis: Very well. Kisses Harold. Be safe my love.
Harold: Anything for thee.
Blaise and Draco fought. Both landed blows on the other but in the end Draconis over powered the other male leaving Blaise to trudge away.
Harold: Are you okay Draconis? He tied a tourniquet around Draco's wounds.
Draconis: I am fine now that you are by my side.
Harold: I will stay hither for eternity if thou wish it of me.
Draconis and Harold kiss.
