What's up. I'm finally moved in my new house. It's so cool. My room is red. RED. Way cool. Anyway here's the 12th chapter.

Chap. 12: The Wake Up Call

Kagome woke up the next morning feeling like she had lain on a cloud. Maybe it's because she finally slept in a bed without worrying about being raped while she slept. Yup, it felt good. So good she was sure she would never go back to the terrible house. She would live on her own from now on, get a job in the area, renting an apartment so she could visit her mom everyday and not only on her anniversary. Which was what she planned to do today.

Grabbing some clothes from the dresser, she walked into the bathroom and took a shower. Coming out of the bathroom dressed in a blue long sleeved shirt and a simple pair of jeans with her hair in a low ponytail she was ready to go visit her mom's grave for the first time in a year.

With Inuyasha

"Ka-go-me, where are you?" Inuyasha said, while trying to keep consciousness. He hadn't slept, nor ate just tried to pinpoint her scent. He was starting to give up all hope of finding her. He was about to give up and go back to his house for some sleep and food. That was until he smelled something very close to vanilla.

"Kagome!" he said regaining energy and following her scent, which wasn't very far.

With Kagome

"Hey mom. How are you. I'm fine I guess. Guess what? I finally left dad. Also Kikyou came back. She once again ruined my chance for happiness. But before I get into that I want to ask you, what am I? A while ago in this big fight with dad, I got some weird powers. If it's possible, at all, send me a sign answering my questions. Please? Well, I'm staying at a hotel near-by so now I can visit you everyday……….. Oh mom, I miss you so much. I am so sorry, if you didn't want to make MY life better you would still be alive. I am so sorry." she sobbed, laying on her mother's grave, falling asleep.

"Kagome. Don't be sorry it was never your fault. I probably would have died anyway. I did what I did so you could have a chance at a normal life. It was totally my decision, so don't you dear blame your-self.

Turning around Kagome was surprised to see her mom, standing right in front of her in a white summer dress and blue house slippers. Just like she was wearing the last time Kagome saw her alive, before she left to school the day she died.

"M-mom. Mommy is it really you? Oh god mommy I missed you so much. Oh mommy." Kagome said hugging her mother and crying.

"Yes it's me, dear child, what I am about to tell you might be a little too much for you to understand now but you will in due time. You come from a long line of mikos. Usually they are female and all are excluding your dad. I am a miko a real one, the one you got your powers from. Mikos are priestesses with special healing and magical powers. In order to control your powers you must train. D oyou understand?" Her mother asked.

"Wait how did dad become a miko?" Kagome asked confused.

"Oh yes, when we were first married I thought he genially loved me, so when he asked if it was possible to transfer my miko powers into him I didn't heaitate to perform the ritual. I know it was dumb, but I was in love. The only way he can lose the powers is by having another mko, a genuine miko, reverse the ritual. So you must train Kagome , you must take back what isn't his. There is a miko who can help you, her name is Keade. Find her and tell her that you are my daughter. She should start training you right away. Now I must go, but one word of advice, trust is hard to build and easy to break, but you must find it in your heart to forgive, for forgiveness is the key to happiness. Go on be happy my beautiful, wonderful daughter. Remember mommy loves you, and will always love until the end of time. Goodbye Kagome." with that her mother's image faded into nothing as Kagome woke up.

"NNNOOO NO Mommy! Come Back. Don't leave me again. I hate you! Please don't leave me mommy. Not again. Don't GO!" Kagome cried while beating her mother's grave, tears streaming down her face like waterfalls. That was how Inuyasha found her.

"Kagome? Are you okay? What are you talking about? Kagome talk to me." Inuyasha said picking her up and cradling her into his lap as he sunk down into the grass by the grave.

"He killed her. He murdered her in cold-blood. It's all his fault. I hate him." Kagome cried into Inuyasha's shirt, clinging onto him like a second lifeline.

"Kagome, here is what's gonna happen. First you're gonna tell me where you're staying, then you will rest and eat something, and then you will tell me what the hell you are talking about. Okay?" Inuyasha said in a firm and demanding voice. Nodding Kagome pointed across the street in the direction of the hotel and handed him the key. He went across the street and went to ask her what her room number was, but found she was asleep.

"Oh, Kagome, what am I going to do with you?" Inuyasha asked softly. He was answered with a small snore from the aforementioned girl. With a chuckle he turned around and saw his Shelby. Taking a wild guess he tried the room door in front of the car. Surprisingly it opened, and Inuyasha walked inside, laid her down on the unmade bed, order some pizza from the number in the phone book and sat on the bed next to Kagome and waited. It wasn't long before fatigue caught up with him and he fell asleep with kagome on the bed.

A.N. Okay It's over, at least this chapter. Well I'm settled in even though I don't have the net yet I wrote the chap. Before hand. Today is Sept. 12,2004 and was football kick-off Sunday. Two of my favorite teams played today. The Redskins and the Raiders. The redskins on 14 to 10 I believe and the Raiders lost 21 to 24 against the Steelers L but we will win the SUPERBOWL. MWAHMWAHhahahaha. Okay, don't mind me, I am the second biggest football fan in my family. My dad is first, so I'm gonna be kinda wacko until the end of football season. No Murphy's Law sorry.
