Author's Note: I did not create the Teen Titans. This is my first fan fic and I hope you enjoy it!
Maya, a normal 15 year old, was just relaxing on her bed, just brushing her hair. "Life is so boring," Maya was thinking," I wish something interesting could happen."
Unknown to Maya, something interesting was going to happen. Her journey began now.
A voice was coming from the mirror, it was hard to hear, but It sounded like the voice was repeating," Come here, my child."
Maya, overwhelmed by both fears and curiosities walked slowly and carefully to her full-length mirror. The glass on the mirror was fogged; you couldn't even see one feature of your reflection. Yet when Maya when close enough to her mirror, she saw a face. That face wore a mask that had two different faces on that mask, one the color of copper and one shrouded in shadow like this man. "I've waited for you…my apprentice," the man coolly remarked.
Maya, with her heart beating ever so quickly, asked the man in the mirror," Who…are you?"
"I am Slade, come with me, you have much to learn. I know you want to know more about yourself," Slade told the girl.
Slade ran off into the distance of the mirror. Maya, believing this man had the answers she needed, put her hand to the mirror and her hand went straight through the mirror. After a moment of shock, she walked into the mirror and walked out of the life she once knew.
