Prologue

This story begins with the meeting of Benjamin and his wife. I have added a character to the story Thomas's twin sister. The story will focus on the children's relationship with their mother, Benjamin and each other. We will get into the movie the Patriot somewhat, but I will change some of it also. Read and Review please. I do not own any character accept for Elizabeth Ruth Martin.

Benjamin Martin rode his horse through the wilderness, he was 19 years old. He was a young man of great stature and strong character. He was on his way to South Carolina. He was serving with the British Army in the American Colonies. When he was 13 years old his parent's had died in a raid by the Cherokee's. Benjamin Martin was on his own from then on. That is why he decided to join the army.

"Benjamin, go in and check with Reverend Putnam, he has our information," Benjamin's superior ordered. Reverend Putnam was in charge of making sure the soldiers had the supplies they needed, and the information they needed from the French. Benjamin walked into the church, and a young girl standing very short, with long hair, tied up in a bun. She had piercing blue eyes, and pale skin. Her hair was a very light blond and she was perfect in Benjamin's eyes.

"Hi, can I help you?" the young girl questioned.

"Yes, I was needing to speak with Reverend Putnam," Benjamin explained.

"Okay, may I ask who you are?"

"Yes, my name is Benjamin Martin, I am with the British militia, he has important imformation that I was ordered to receive."

"Okay, I will be right back, feel free to take a seat." Benjamin took a seat, and twiddled his thumbs waiting for the Reverend to arrive.

"Hello, I am Reverend Putnam, what can I do for you today," he asked.

"Well sir, I am Benjamin Martin with the British Militia, my orders are to receive information from you."

"Yes, follow me." Benjamin followed the Reverend into his office, "this is what you are looking for." The Reverend pulled out a sheet of paper's and letters. "Do not open these. They are for your commanding officer's eyes only."

"Yes sir." Benjamin responded walking out. "Goodbye," he said to the young women in the church.

"Have a lovely evening," she replied. Benjamin walked out to his horse, and road off to his nearest fort.
