Mirrored Souls : A Hiei to Kurama Poem
The world outside,
Is pure and bright,
A big difference,
From what I am inside,
Born in darkness,
An empty living shell,
Forever searching,
Forever seeking,
That haunting melodious voice,
Promising relief to the tormented soul.
The healing light,
Destroys the cold,
I hear laughter,
I saw pain,
I tried to run,
But all in vain,
I'm trapped,
In this alien world,
Till I saw someone,
I think it's a girl.
Bright red strands,
Surrounds her face,
Head held high,
And continued walking straight,
I stalked and followed,
Tensed and alert,
Stopped and glared,
When she smiled and turned.
That fateful day,
We met on the street,
Only its never a girl I meet,
A ruthless demon,
A gentle boy,
Amusing, annoying, but never coy.
Author's Note :
Whew! Took quite some time to get it to rhyme. But I guess after reading it through it passed the test. Actually I just wanna try something from Hiei's POV. Hope you guys enjoyed it and please send me some reviews.
Thanks a lot! -
