While I was working on the next chapter of "TOW They Pushed Too Far" this idea came to me and I had to write it down. This is just the beginning, a little teaser. But if you like it please review to let me know if you want to know what happens next.

Anybody there?
Chandler Bing stood in front of his large office window, looking down at the deserted street glowing in the fading sunlight.
From where he stood all the way up on the eleventh floor the concrete looked impeccable – a black band without any cracks or flaws. The longer Chandler gazed at the asphalt the more it seemed like a liquid surface tempting him to dive into – to sink into oblivion. Promising a way out of the loneliness he would have to face in the future.
As if in trance Chandler slid the window all the way open, never letting his eyes leave the road for he knew that if he broke the stare he would lose his will to proceed with his plan. But every time he started to doubt his decision a little voice inside his head told him that there wasn't anything left to live for anyway.
Nodding at that thought with his jaw set tight he hauled himself up onto his windowsill. When he leant forward to get a better look down to his destination the wind caught his jacket tearing at Chandler as if he wanted him to jump already.
And the wind is right, my friend. Why are you hesitating? Chandler heard the voice again. Chandler almost laughed at the thought of the wind observing and criticizing his suicide.
He shook his head and stretched his shoulders in an attempt to refocus so he could stop his mind from skipping around and get back to the topic at hand.
"Ok, goodbye now, you heartless world." Chandler said out loud before he gripped the window frame left and right with his hands. "If this is how it ends then I want to at least reach the other side of the street." He swung back and forth to gather momentum only to get startled by the telephone on his desk ringing. He lost his balance and his left hand slipped off of the frame almost making him fall out of the window. He swayed for a moment on the sill before collapsing backwards onto his office floor.
"Dammit, I can't even kill myself without making a fumbling moron out of myself." He muttered while pulling himself up using his chair.
But then the phone rang again reminding Chandler of the reason why he almost fell out of the window without making it to the other side of the road.
He stared at the receiver disbelievingly for another two rings before he broke out of his spell and pulled the handset up in an almost violent manner.
"Hello? Hello!" He cried desperately down the line. "Anybody there?"
