Kokoro wo Shinjite, Shinomori Aoshi

( Trust your heart, Shinomori Aoshi )

The sight ahead,

Is like a dream,

My ice blue eyes see,

But my heart don't agree,

My four faithful companions,

Have fallen before me,

I buried then here,

May their souls rest in peace,

And vowed before their graves,

The title will have their names.

I trained myself,

Improved my skills,

I wield two swords,

And kill at will,

I'm finally prepared,

To face the one,

But is it enough,

If I had won?

Our swords clashed,

Few words are exchanged,

Yet their meaning is deep,

And woke me from my sleep,

The nightmare is over,

I can finally rest,

And honor my friends,

With flowers and prayers.

My face revealed nothing,

My heart is partly closed,

But one happy child,

Managed to make my heart unfold,

A small smile touched my lips,

As I stood with her,

Up on the high cliffs,

My heart is full,

Of love and peace,

I'll love her forever,

This I promise with a kiss.
