Chapter 1(If you can call them chapters…) Skiing
"And these things are called what again?"
"Skis! It's fun, InuYasha!" Kagome pushed her boots into the skis with a click to tell it's secure and turned to the nervous hanyou with a smile. "Don't worry! You may fall a few times, but that's just because you're learning. I did when I first tried."
"These things are killing my feet! Why do I have to do this!" InuYasha whined as he lifted his foot to show the ski boots.Kagome frowned and pointed a accusing finger at him.
"Because you are the one who wanted to try it! So stop whining and let's go!" The dog eared boy just snorted and looked at the skis like they would attack him at any second.
"I don't like these things…"
"Baby…"
"I am not!"
"Sure…"
LATER!
"I thought you were used to heights?"
"When its me jumping! Not when I'm riding some Ma… Ma… Whatever this thing is called!" Kagome giggled as InuYasha held onto the bar for life. They were dangling over one of the highest points on the mountain on a ski lift. InuYasha had gotten the hang of skiing, but, of course, was still complaining about the ski boots. (Can you just picture him in skis? –sighs and daydreams-) But the way he looked when he skied just made her happy! He looked so carefree and innocent. You'd never think he had such a troubled past. Soon the lift came to the top and they slid off. They stopped at the edge of the hill and InuYasha gaped as someone went down with a yell.
"It's okay, InuYasha. I'm sure you'll do fine! I'll stay next to you the whole time! If I can that is…" Kagome said and sighed. He was such a speed demon. Literally! InuYasha took a deep breath and glanced over at Kagome.
"Ready?" he asked and she nodded. He pushed off and Kagome came after soon. She caught up with him and laughed as the wind blew her hair back. Her face soon grew nub and she looked over at InuYasha. He had a big smile on his face and he laughed! He really laughed! She looked back a head and saw a bunch of trees coming up. She swerved out of the way of one and saw InuYasha disappear behind another large tree. She groaned and tried to follow when she spotted a sign. She slide to a stop and gasped. The sign said: STOP! Only experienced skiers may pass! Big ramp ahead!
"InuYasha…"
WITH INUYASHA
"Where'd Kagome go?" InuYasha stopped and looked around. He shrugged his shoulders and went forward. He saw a big ramp and grinned. If he could go off of this then he could impress even Kagome! He started down the ramp and almost let out a yelp when he saw how big it was. "Not good…" he groaned as he got close to the edge. He ramped off and let out a yell. Below Kagome gasped as she saw InuYasha come off the ramp.
"Idiot…" she mumbled and pushed towards the place he was likely to land. There was a dull thump as he hit a huge pile of snow and Kagome yelped and pulled her skies off. She climbed up the mound and found InuYasha stuck head first in the snow. "InuYasha!" She ran over and started digging him out. He kicked his feet and pushed most of the snow off himself. He flopped back, gasping for breath and Kagome threw herself onto his stomach, hugging him. "Are you alright, InuYasha!" she cried as he sat up. He blushed and pulled her into a hug.
"Fine. Just sore… I never want to ski again, Kagome!" She smiled and gave him a quick kiss on the cheek.
"Done!" He blushed even deeper and gave her a small smile.
(OH! I like this one! I have had another in mind about skiing, but this one was better. Kagome was supposed to be going on a school skiing trip and InuYasha got there with a little help from Mrs. H! –giggles- Hope you like this one! There's plenty more where that came from.
