Speak To Me, Earth Goddess!
Kenshin's long red hair flew through the wind as he rode the mighty white stallion. He raced across the wide open plains letting his horse guide him.
He always loved adventure. That is probably why he wandered the Great Plains exploring this new found land.
Some thought him a hero for he explored these uncharted lands to let them know if it was safe to travel.
Others thought him a manslayer. For they knew that behind this one explorer would be more. Those people would kill the precious trees and take their land for profit.
He was responsible for them coming. He was responsible for these Indians dieing. They called him Battousai because of this.
Yet he still came. He longed for the thrill of new things. He longed for adventure.
He loved the feel of the wind in his hair as he rode. He loved the smell of fresh air in his nostrils. He loved the sky; a beautiful clear blue in the day and a enticing starry night.
He continued to ride on in the day. The sun beat down on his head but he paid no mind.
He reached a forest on the edge of the plains and dismounted.
He walked him and his horse in to the wild trees. The air was thicker than before but he still loved it.
He walked through the forest with easy. He came upon a small stream and decided to rest for a while.
He let his horse drink from the water while he relaxed on a rock near by. Everything was calm and peaceful. He slowly drifted to sleep.
She watched the man as he slept.
She careful walked closer to see his face. She stood next to him as silent as a mouse. She was shocked to such a man in this forest.
He had long red hair and a scar on his left cheek. He had much whiter skin than her. He was quiet handsome. She couldn't see his eyes for he was asleep but she was sure they were beautiful too.
She noticed a long weapon at his hip a slowly took it from the man. It was heavy so she almost dropped it but caught herself. She sat on a rock and tried to contemplate what it was.
She finally tugged on it and it moved slightly revealing a sharp metal inside. She tugged harder and pulled the metal completely out. She stared at the weapon it amazement.
She ran her fingers on the pointed parts of the metal and let out a shriek as it cut her fingers.
"You might want to be careful there." A voice from behind her said. She didn't understand but she turned around slowly.
The man had light violet eyes. He slowly walked toward her and screamed before running away in fright.
Suddenly she was caught in two powerful arms.
"Now, now, please don't leave. I won't hurt you." She didn't understand. She tried to get out of his grip but he didn't let go.
He picked her up and brought back to the rock he was laying on before and sat her down.
"Can you tell me your name?" he asked. She stared at him blankly. What was he saying?
He then pointed to himself. "Kenshin." Then he pointed to her.
At first she didn't understand until he did it again. She finally said, "Kaoru."
Sorry it is short. (How many times do I say this?) Anyways, this is part of my elemental theme. This is earth if you're wondering.
