Lost and Gone Alden-san
Kakashi has lost everyone in his life, almost. His father's suicide. His teammate's sacrifice, his sensei's sacrifice. His other teammate's lost life. And now his students, with Sasuke gone and Naruto and Sakura under different teachers.
He's lost them all, either by association or by death. He knows that, sometimes, he wasn't the most helpful for Sakura, and sometimes Naruto didn't get as much attention either. Kakashi's first real genin team, he'd focused on Sasuke because Sasuke was in trouble and the other two had taken it badly.
Naruto had been jealous, even moreso now, of Sasuke. Sakura had folded in on herself, completely ignoring treaning to prefer keeping watch over her teammates, unsure of her skills. Sasuke himself had become impatient with Kakashi's teaching, not becoming strong enough quick enough. His lust for revenge, if that's what it was, was too strong. Kakashi hadn't been able to keep it from happening.
And now Naruto was gone from the village, with Jiraiya, and Sakura had gone tpo Tsunade for apprenticeship, and he was aolone again. No team, no family, just another lonely Jounin. He hated the fact that every relationship he built with other humans crumbled so easily.
Obito,. Rin, Yondaime, Sasuke, Sakura, Naruto, his father. All he had now was bad light, cheap porn, and instant ramen, lying in bed with only two hours of non-sleep before his next mission, wishing things were different. That Naruto would return, that Sakura would ask him to teach her again, that all of his friends and family would return from the dead.
But that was impossible. So all he did was flip the page, and wonder what would happen next.
