He's laying beside me quite quietly, watching the sky. I like it when he's distracted, his face is calmer and his eyes a little more dreamy. It's taken a long time for both of us to learn to relax - especially around each other. After all, we're two very dangerous guys. It's hard to forget that he could easily kill me now.
But, that's why I trust him and love him so fiercely. He never has hurt me, and I have never hurt him. I never want to. He's watching the clouds, I can see the lazily moving reflections in his dark eyes, and it makes me smile, moving over him, ducking my head to steal a kiss. He smiles up at me, slipping his hand into my hair, tugging gently. "You're in the way."
"Clouds are all the same," I say, knowing he'll argue with that.
"Clouds are all different, they're all interesting."
I stop him from going into a lecture with another soft kiss. He pulls me down against him, his tongue slipping into my mouth. I trust him, close my eyes and let him have his way. It's pure pleasure, the way he kisses me, his tongue in my mouth, his hands running down my sides gently.
"You're more interesting than clouds, though." He says softly, and smiles just a little, that small, teasing smile that I love. It takes me a few minutes to remember what we were talking about - after his kisses, what would you expect?
"Oh?"
"Yeah. You'll be the study of my lifetime, I think." He smiles some more.
I can't help but smile back. "I hope so." And I bend down and kiss him.
