A/N: An M/M drabble to help me break through the brick wall of writer's block for WAYWF. It's a little different then my other stories, but I like this idea. Enjoy!
It was as if they had their own language.
A secret language that no one except the two of them spoke.
It was actually more of a sign language, really.
During a particularly dangerous mission, his hand would occasionally touch the small of her back; a sign she knew meant that he was by her side to protect her.
After a heated argument, he'd help her wash the dishes, their fingers brushing once in awhile; his own way of apologizing.
But she truly loved it when he smiled, since it was such a rare thing to see.
And when he did smile, even if it was just a miniscule one, the message that came from it was more then enough to make her smile back.
