"No," Tom said. Bob just walked in and saw Tom asleep on the couch thrashing around like he was having a nightmare. "Tom, wake up. Its ok. Its just a dream." Tom was still thrashing around so Bob shook his arm. "NO!" Tom said as he finally woke up. "Tom?" Bob said. Startled, Tom said, "Oh, Dad, I didn't know you were here." "That must have been some dream," Bob said and then noticed that Tom didn't look right. "Are you alright?" Bob asked his son. Tom wiped his eyes, still trying to wake up and then said to his father, "No, Dad. I'm really not. I'm in trouble and I don't know how to fix it."

After Tom filled his father in what had been going on, Bob put a comforting hand on his son's shoulder. Tom couldn't keep Bob from noticing the emotion in his voice. "I feel like I'm going crazy, Dad. I just ran my wife out of the house because of something I can't even bring myself to tell her. How am I going to talk her out of going undercover to catch this guy?" Bob thought for a minute. He knew Tom wasn't going to like what he had to say, but he said it anyway. "Tom, Margo's a pretty headstrong woman. At this point, I don't think you can talk her out of it." Tom looked at Bob as though he had lost his mind. "Dad, if she does this, she's going to get herself killed." Bob continued, "I don't think she will. She's a cop with twenty years experience. She's gone undercover before. With the whole force behind her, she'll be fine." Tom still disagreed, "No, why should she take that risk? There are plenty of other cops who could do this for her." Bob decided to take another approach. "Tom, do you regret going to Africa with Margo to catch that drug lord?," he asked him. "No, of course not, that's how we fell in love. That's part of the reason Margo became a cop."

This forced Tom to really think about what Bob was trying to tell him. Inspite of the endless hours and headaches, he knew Margo loved being a cop. Should he try to talk her out of this because he was afraid. It didn't seem fair. Bob continued, "Son, the way I see it, she can either do this with or without you by her side. And I just bet she would much rather do it knowing you have her back." With that, Bob patted Tom on the back and then left him to think. God, how he hated it when his father was right. Now the first step was to get Margo to forgive him. He felt horrible about the way they had left things after their argument earlier.

At the Harris home, Jessica was desperately trying to find the right words to say to her best friend. "Margo, listen, I've known Tom for a long time. He loves you. If he is having any problem with you being involved in this investigation, its only because he's concerned for your safety." Margo knew that was true, but she was still angry because she thought he could have been more supportive. Jessica looked at her watch, "Oh, my God. I was supposed to meet Ben fifteen minutes ago. Are you going to be ok? Because I can stay if you need me." Margo waved her off, "No, don't be silly, I'll be fine." Jessica wasn't sure, but she agreed, "Ok, please stay here as long as you need. Everything's going to be fine." Jessica and Margo hugged one more time and then Jessica walked out the door.

For a few minutes after Jess had left, Margo just sat in the empty room with her thoughts. Deciding she needed a distraction, she got up and turned on the radio to the local country station just as they started playing Lonestar's I'm Already There. She listened to the words of the song unaware that across town, Tom was listening to the very same song.

He called her on the road
From a lonely cold hotel room
Just to hear her say I love you one more time
But when he heard the sound
Of the kids laughing in the background
He had to wipe away a tear from his eye
A little voice came on the phone
Said "Daddy when you coming home"
He said the first thing that came to his mind

I'm already there
Take a look around
I'm the sunshine in your hair
I'm the shadow on the ground
I'm the whisper in the wind
I'm your imaginary friend
And I know I'm in your prayers
Oh I'm already there

She got back on the phone
Said I really miss you darling
Don't worry about the kids they'll be alright
Wish I was in your arms
Lying right there beside you
But I know that I'll be in your dreams tonight
And I'll gently kiss your lips

Touch you with my fingertips
So turn out the light and close your eyes

I'm already there
Don't make a sound
I'm the beat in your heart
I'm the moonlight shining down
I'm the whisper in the wind
And I'll be there until the end
Can you feel the love that we share
Oh I'm already there

We may be a thousand miles apart
But I'll be with you wherever you are

I'm already there
Take a look around
I'm the sunshine in your hair
I'm the shadow on the ground
I'm the whisper in the wind
And I'll be there until the end
Can you feel the love that we share
Oh I'm already there

Oh I'm already
There

Margo had tears running down her face as the song finished. She thought for a minute and then decided what she needed to do. She grabbed her purse and walked out the door.

Across town, Tom sat at the kitchen table with tears streaming down his face as well.
