Disclaimer: Sadly I own none of Tamora Pierce's characters.
Summery: Does Kyprioth really feel that Aly is only another chosen or is there something he is hiding?
Alternate
Aly was in a forest she realized. Next to her was Kyproith the Trickster God. As usual Kyproith had on nobility clothes and was grinning like a fool because the greatest trick ever had been pulled. Aly scanned for Nawat her husband. He was nowhere in sight, looking at the God Aly asked him what he wanted now or could she actually sleep since he brought her to the Copper Isles to help the raka revolt against the Luarin nobles and the Rittevon line.
"My Dear why would you want to leave my realms?" Kyprioth drawled.
"Maybe because I am with child and I doubt it healthy for you to take me away like you have done on numerous occasions."
"Yes well besides that are you not happyto have araka Queen on the throne once again my dear?"
"Stop calling me that and you know very well that I am happy but it doesn't excuse you for this. I need to get back to my body and make sure that Nawat doesn't realize the danger you have put the child in by bringing me here."
"O very well. Tata."
Aly found herself back in her rooms right before sunrise. Lucky him. She thought as she rose to get out of bed as the arm of her husband came to snake around her waist and pull her back under the covers and into a nice dreamless sleep. Only to be awoken 20 minutes later by morning sickness.
