Greeting Everyone. sorry it to me so long to get it updated. I have decide to put several
short chapters in before i start getting in to the major battle. I had trouble with my computer accessing fanfiction.net for a little bit, But that is besides the point. On with the story.
Chapter 18: Inner Turmoil
Kisho wandered the halls comfortable with the new life we was building with is
sister, and adopted siblings. No matter how comfortable, there was a nagging feeling in the
back of his mind. It had been several months sense he experienced any visions.
His harden training idea had more been turned into play time by everyone else,
because everyone had told them that there was nothing to worry about. He knew that was wrong
and they were saying that only to make them feel at ease.
He stood in the room looking in at the Tetsusaiga on the stand his father had set it
up on. He walked slowly up to the blade placing his hand on the sheath.
"Mother, I stopped all the bad stuff of our time, but now even more bad stuff is
happening. I don't know what I am supposed to do. I miss being at home so much. While they
treat me so well here, but… but… It's nothing like being with you. You sent me here because
you thought it would save me, and it did. Wasn't I also suppose to be some sort of help in
destroying this shadow."
Kisho wiped the lone tear away that slid down his face. He place his now tear
stained hand on the Tetsusaiga from his time. He nearly jumped when the Tetsusaiga pulsed at
his touch. Taking up the pulsing sword he drew it from its sheath. The Tetsusaiga glowed
briefly before it transformed in to the large fang.
His eyes became wide as he stared into the sword's glow, his face grew pale as his
mind drifted into a world he only dreamed of.
The breeze blew his hair gently in front of his face. He stood before the god tree
like he had done so many times before. It was the same as it was when he last left it. He
knew he wasn't really here. This world was long dead.
"It lives in your heart." The voice was gentle and wise beyond the years she had
spend on the planet. He turned and saw his mother. A little older but still the same woman
he loved with all his heart. "And so do we." He saw the ghostly images of Miruko, Sango,
Shippou, Inuyasha, and Sesshoumaru standing right behind her.
He ran to her an embraced her. "I have missed you so much. I want to come home. I
want to live with you."
"You can't Kisho. You can't come to were I am. It just doesn't exist any more." She
kneeled down holding on to his shoulders. "The only place that we truly exist is in your
heart. I sent you here so that you can you can live and grow into the man you will become. I
know it must be hard, but here you have a family and you have gotten to know your father.
This is all stuff that I couldn't give you.
"But I miss…"
"You can't think of what was. You are valuable and you have a purpose in the
upcoming battle. Rarly can lighting strike twice let alone at the same time."
The sites and sound began fading.
"Mother, Mother!!! Not again… Please don't go!!!"
"As Long as you live on we will never die. Try not to remember us sadly but warmly
for as long as you remember us we will never die. I must go Kisho. I love you always
remember that."
"Kisho… Kisho…" Kagome called to the unmoving child.
"No MOTHER!!" He screamed, as he open his eyes.
"Kisho everything is alright. Your at home." She held him close stroking his hair
rocking him back and forth. "I am here nothing is going to happen"
----------------
Kagome brushed his hair from his forehead then kissed him gently. He gave her a weak
smile as she closed the door. He pulled the blanket up to his chin rolling away from the
door.
"Lightning?" He slowly curled in on himself trying to figure out what lightning had
to do with any thing. "What did you mean mother I don't understand?" He whispered softly
into the dark room. Slowly his eyes grew heavy as he fell into the world of dreams.
