Disclaimer Nazis: Tetris is the product of... somebody. But it certainly wasn't me... or, was it? Maybe I invented Tetris! Uh, I'll shut up now before the Disclaimer Nazis see me.
There are some things you can't stop,
Like blocks in a game of Tetris.
No matter how many you break up
With lines and combos and Tetrii,
There are always more.
Humans have created a concept,
But, in truth, even infinity ends.
To our people, there are
Always more blocks, there is
Always more road around the bend.
We can make predictions, see patterns
In the kinds of shapes we'll get,
After all, we only invented four.
Yet, in the end, when the game is over,
The screen always looks different.
This was just, an itch, something I felt wasn't being thought about enough. Must people aren't philosophical, but then again most people don't write poems relating to video games.
