This is my first fanfic, so I'm not familiar with the whole procedure, so no flames please!
Disclaimer: Though I would like to own the entire tolkein business, I do not own any of the characters or the story itself, it is all JRR Tolkien's stuff
Pippin staggered across the bitter landscape, the battle had killed many people, and the country may not recover for ages. But the only thing that was going through his mind was the name of his friend.
"Merry!" he cried in the darkness, "Merry!"
He found a cloak that was painfully familiar, looking around he saw the massive shape of a dead oliphant dominating the scene, under its shadow was a small shape, covered with a dead orc. Merry.
"Merry? Merry!"
"I told you we will meet again, Pip" he said huskily, he was hurt.
"I'm going to look after you now." Pip whispered, covering Merry in his cloak.
They minced their up to the houses of healing, inside there were many people, but they managed to get a room alone.
Merry lay down on a low bed, his blonde curls spilling over the pillow. Pip was clearly worried and started to clean the grazes on Merry's arm.
'I was so worried Merry.'he said in a small voice.
'About what, Pip?'
'That we may have never seen each other again.'
'So was I.'
Merry pulled off his shirt which revealed a mass of bruises on his back, Pip slowly cleaned these, even though it wasn't necessary.
He gazed at the body, the moonlight reflected off the now muscled body. And for a second their eyes met, relaying thoughts of what they really felt about each other.
"Pip, we can't keep playing this game forever.'
The hairs on his neck rose with anticipation, 'What do you mean?'
'You know what I mean. We both know after all this time, the only person you desire is me.' He paused, looking away, 'I also desire you.' He said in a voice that was barely audible.
A strange feeling lumped at Pip's throat. They both had their fair share of lovers. But this was different. Merry was a full grown hobbit, and his cousin.
Merry reached out and tenderly touched his hand. Those hands were once soft, but now they had become hard and strong. Pip gave into desire, leaned over and kissed him on the head, the nose, the cheeks, but Merry kissed his mouth and drew him near. The sweetness of his mouth overcame all doubts, and he let his shirt fall to the ground, Merry pulled him down onto the bed, and they lay side-by-side, gazing intently into each other's eyes. They had seen each other naked before, but there was certain beauty found in each that no woman could compare to.
He found his hands sliding down Merry's chest over the buttons of his pants. He listened to the small moan as he undid them and they found themselves at each others mercy. They pressed hard against each other's bodies, and Pip felt soft warm kisses play lightly over his chest andhis stomach. He toyed with the golden locks on his head and stroked his back, wary of the bruises and cut Merry had sustained.
He was beginning to reach his peak but Merry stopped and started to kiss again.
'Why did you stop?' he breathed. He was answered by hard kisses on his neck. He arched his back, releasing a cry which was instantly joined by Merry. They leaned into each other, in love's exhaustion. Pip kissed him several more times before it seemed he had gone asleep. He rolled over and closed his eyes, feeling love that he never felt before.
Merry had not gone to sleep, but was waiting for Pip to be asleep before he started spilling his secrets to him.
'Pip? Are you asleep?' No reply.
I want you to know, I love you. I think I always have been. All those girls, Pip, could never replace the love I have ever felt for you. I hope you understand. I know you understand. Just never leave me again, I couldn't bear another parting.'
Pippin listened, unbeknown to Merry, and understood everything.
