Disclaimer: I… don't own Digimon. Damn, I wish I did… then it would so not end up as Matt/Sora and Yolei/Ken (yuckyuck) and… well, Ken would be on every frame then DD… with Daisuke of course.
But this fic doesn't have anything to do with Ken, sadly. I feel as I am not up to writing super Ken fics, which can portray his magnificence with justice attempted melodrama So, after not updating my account for nine months I've come up with something totally unoriginal (… maybe…) and perhaps OOC, but I publish it anyway as… I have not for so long. So get ready for a short fluff, its Christmas and all.

Touch the Snow
It was snowing. A light, feathery blanket enveloped the earth as she danced, tracing footsteps in the snow. Her cheeks were flushed pink from the cold and her hair was tousled, flecked with snowflakes. A boy sat on the bench little paces off, blowing his hot drink, watching her movements through the swirling whiteness. Heavy clouds and the night darkened the sky, but for him a light always shone upon her. She stopped, clasping her mitten hands together and looked up to the sky in delight. She laughed - 'like tinkling bells' he thought.
In the whole park, they were alone. It was the first Christmas Eve that it snowed, in his recall, despite where they lived, and she had insisted on spending it with him. He didn't know what he was to her, and he wasn't sure where she stood with him, but right now he was content, just as he was. She gestured for him to come to her, to dance with her. He shook his head, stuck out his tongue teasingly and took another sip of his drink. "Too cold to move," he laughed. She pouted and placed her hands on her hips, "Too cold not to move." And pulled him up. He dropped his cup on the snow, and she led him along, running, weaving, through the snowflakes. They slid down the slide and raced up and down the monkey bars, just as they had done when they were small.
Just as they had done when they were small – he had so many memories, always with her, in the rain, in the wind, and most often, on the soccer field. She stopped at the swings, brushed off the snow on one of them, and motioned for him sit. "And are you going to push me?" He asked incredulously. "Of course," she replied, smiling. He blinked in surprise, then bowed graciously, holding the swing, "Miss, I insist." And swept clean another seat.
-
The snow fell calmly, and they were quiet, swaying on the swings.
"It's awfully late," he said, "almost Christmas."
"Hmm," she looked up. "We should get going." Then laughing she said "You wouldn't want to be spending the first white Christmas with me."
And lapsed back into silence.
"Why… why did you call me out tonight?" he asked, and for some unfathomable reason to himself, he was blushing. "Sora?"
Her hesitation made his blush grow deeper. When she grasped his hand, he turned to her in surprise. With her head cast down, she held onto his hand between the swings.
"You're my friend, aren't you?" Sora leaned over to brush some snow from his brown hair and gave him a strange smile, "My very special friend."
She dropped a small box into his hand, wrapped in silver and blue and topped with a bow. "Merry Christmas, Taichi."

End
Wheeee. So a Tai/Sora… if you haven't been able to tell. Well, you probably wouldn't be able to tell if there weren't names at the end
I definitely like Tai/Yamato better… but yeah Review, s'il vous plait!
