Through Broken Glass
by: Little Beth

Through broken glass, I saw you there
Skin pale like the moon, eyes bright as stars
Wispy wheat for hair, delicate features
So through broken glass, I saw you there

Through broken glass, I creeped towards your window
Eyes bright with wonder
Why are you there?
So through broken glass, I creeped towards your window

Through broken glass, I longed to touch you
Your skin looked like cream
I want to feel it slick with sweat underneath my body
So through broken glass, I longed to touch you

Through broken glass, I needed you with me
Passing glances, thoughtful looks
I call to you, yet you don't respond
So through broken glass, I needed you with me

Through broken glass, I knew you craved me
You think me an angel
I think you a piece of freedom
So through broken glass, I knew you craved me

Through broken glass, I saw you there
Skin pale like the moon, eyes bright as stars
So I've come my love
Knight in shining armour
I free you from your glass prison
So through broken glass... I set you free

LB's Notes: Huzzah! I finally finished this one. It's a basic companion piece to Behind Window Panes, only it's Harry point-of-view. Though Draco sees the world through a regular window, Harry's looks back to see the glass broken. Why? Because if I had Lucius Malfoy as a father, I'd be slightly cracked as well (not that I hate Lucius, wonderful character. but that's beside the point). So Harry's view of Draco's world is slightly cracked and/or broken, yet Draco's view of Harry's world is perfect, though we all know different. Hopefully that all made sense, but I'm rambling.
