This is a poem that expresses my faith. Please read and enjoy. Tell me all of your thoughts in review format when you are done whether or not you like it, for as a future writer, I must know.
God bless to all of you! May these words take you by the heart and lead you to live for His glory, that you may someday share in my friendship in Heaven.
Boom
One sound, and there was Earth
One breath, and light consumed everything
And all was good.
Water and sky
Birds and beasts in air and on land
Of varieties unimaginable coexisting together
And they were good.
The sun rose and fell
The currents pulled up and downwards
And the breezes swayed the branches of saplings
And it was good.
Then there was Man
Who named the creatures and plants
And was lord over all beasts of air and land and sea
And he was good.
Then, there was the Lord
Who made all things for His will
And wants the best even today for our busied lives
And He was good.
There was cold and warm
Which made seasons begin in the lands
And climates were estimated and dished out
And all was good.
And then there was Woman
Who was the friend of Man and helped
And together they lorded over the beasts of Earth
And she was good.
But then there was Satan
Outcast and evil, there to destroy
And led them both astray in turn against His will
Because he was not good.
The Lord soon knew
And went to find them who hid
And found them and punished their crimes of spite
Because he was right.
But He loved them both
And though their crimes separated them
He found a way to reunite his own people with him
In a place that is good.
For through Jesus Christ
The Lord and Savior of all men
Came to die in our stead and thus gave life unending
In the place that is good.
And so now, my sister,
Why do you wait around
To do what is right when you are grown and responsible
For what is good?
Why, my brother,
Do you sit and act as Earth
And pretend that your time will never come to meet
He who is good?
We must work, dear hearts,
For we do not gain free entrance
And eternity is a long time to suffer for your crimes
Against all that's good.
