Hard to Tell It

(A/N) Father Mansart, poem form, on telling Erik that Sasha has no soul.

Hard to tell the sparrow
He is not an eagle
Hard to tell the child
The child without eyes
Hard to tell that child
Eyes can't see.
It is hard to tell a demon
A demon cold and hard
It is hard to tell a demon
He is blessed.

Hard to tell a child
A child lost and lonely
Hard to tell a child
His friend is laid to rest.
Hard to tell a child
Some things are best unsaid
And hard to tell a dreamer
A dreamer
Idealistic
Some things have no souls.
