Have fun.
And She was His – finally
There she was. Lying lazily but gracefully on the couch. It hadn't been easy to steal into this bureau, but the mere sight of her was more than compensation. The soft outlines of her body were shimmering in the spare candlelight that lit up the little room.
From the first moment he had come to Hogwarts he had wished that one day she would be his. And, again, there she was, turning her head ever so slightly, her wonderful grey eyes glistening, reflecting the fire in the chimney, as they met his amber ones.
She would be his one day.
She liked playing, that was why it wasn't time yet.
A strong power was coming from her. One reason why she wasn't liked among the students, or at least among some special students. He was very well aware that he was moving between those two parties, but the border was about to be crossed – if it wasn't already.
Her eyes were still riveted on him, but he couldn't have said what was going on in her delicately-shaped and intelligent head. If she was surprised at seeing him here she knew very well how to hide it, her beautiful face showing nothing of her emotions.
She rose very slowly and as though she knew exactly what effect this had on him, she stretched her body with relish.
It was a challenge and somehow he managed to remain sitting where he was.
She left the sofa and slowly came towards him.
Stay calm, boy, he admonished himself.
As she reached him and sat down in front of him their faces were only separated by very few cubic millimetres of air which seemed to get less with every second passing by.
When she began to speak her purring voice almost made him forget his manners.
"At last", she said very slowly, "I already wondered when you'd finally come."
As she passed him by she cuddled up to his body and slipped out through the door of the room.
Now she was his, his Mrs. Norris, or Enigma, how so few knew.
Crookshanks turned round satisfied and followed her out of Filch's bureau.
I wouldn't be surprised if you wonder why I took this pairing. I will tell you. A few days ago I made one of these Harry-Potter-tests the world doesn't need. But of course I had to find out which was the pairing with which I would write my best story. You just found out.
Please review. It is my first story in English and I'd like to know if it sounds too "German-English".
