Sora's New love
Disclaimer: I do not own Digimon nor do I own their characters. But I do own the ideas of this story, and the original characters
A/N: Sorry it took some time to continue this story. I was debating about whether I should keep the story going right now, or end this and created a sequel relating to the marriage years of my character and Sora. And I have decided to wrap up this story with a chapter 8, on the honeymoon and then I will write a sequel to show the life of Sora and me, as well as some marriages of the other characters mentioned earlier.
Ch 8:The Honeymoon
James yawned as he opened his eyes. The flight to Hawaii was taking an awfully long time. James looked up on the ceiling display in the cabin to see their current location over the pacific. "2 more hours? Man…this is taking almost forever…but at least Agumon's not making a fuss…" He flinched when Agumon spoke to him, "Oh, you're awake! So, tell me…what's available in Hawaii? What's there to do, hmm? Huh? Huh?" "I guess I said too soon." "Quiet Agumon, don't wake up them up!" He looks at the sleeping figure of Sora and Biyomon. "You know our sweethearts are very tired since the wedding. Sora hasn't slept well enough after the wedding…this is the only time she could sleep well…before arriving at the resort of course." Agumon listened and nodded. He then went over and placed an arm around Biyomon and went to sleep again. "Man, I can't believe I had to spend a little extra to buy the entire row of seats here. Why couldn't Agumon and Biyomon change into their in-training forms for me and Sora's convenience?" James thought before closing his eyes to sleep again.
Sora awoke abruptly when she felt the bump and heard the loud roaring as the plane landed at Honolulu International. Her newlywed husband was still sound asleep next to her. It was only until the roaring and screeching of the brakes reached their peak intensity that he began to stir. He smiled as he gave a kiss on the lips. "Morning Sora. Or evening, more rather." He said as he watched the scenery outside the window. Sora smiled, kissed James on the cheek and unbuckled her seat belt after the signal went out.
James picked up the carry-on bags while Sora stepped onto the aisle. Agumon also helped out with Biyomon's bag. Biyomon's bag contained mainly of food and some bird-digimon necessities. "Is all this weight the food?" Agumon scoffed as he struggled with the bag. James smiled and picked up the bag for his friend with one hand. He was surprised on how light it seemed. "Man, you need to hit the gym at the resort…this feels like…only 10 pounds. Digimon are supposedly stronger than humans, not the other way around." Agumon just growled as he trotted after Biyomon when the passengers began to disembark the plane. Sora was already ahead of Biyomon while James tagged along in the rear with the couple's carry-on baggage.
James had hailed a taxi after the couple went through the baggage claim. As James told the cab driver where they were headed, James opened the door for Sora. She smiled at him and stepped in the cab with Biyomon. James then closed the door and went around to the other side to sit next to Sora. Biyomon had changed places with James so she could sit next to Agumon. As the cab drove away to the resort, James and Sora just enjoyed the view and the lovely presence of each other.
As soon as they arrived at the resort, James paid the cab driver and tipped the bellhop to carry their luggage for them. The couple went up to their room and when Sora entered, she went straight to the balcony to admire the view of the beach. "Oh…it's so beautiful!" She said. James came behind her and puts his arms around her from behind. "Yea, and we'll be together to enjoy it…you still looked exhausted from the jet lag. Why don't you hit the shower and get some sleep, honey? I'll call for room service if you're hungry."
Sora thought of an idea and she smiled as she nodded. She opened up her bags, grabbed her personal things and began to walk to the bathroom. Halfway there, she turned around to see James sitting on the couch. He was watching Agumon and Biyomon playing a video game on the pay-per-view system in the room's TV. Sora sneakily went into the bathroom and called out. "Honey, I can't find the soap in this freaking bathroom…can you come help me find it?"
James got up without switching his eyes from the TV. Biyomon and Agumon were going at it for quite a while and it seemed like neither side had the advantage. "Coming!" James said as he neared the bathroom door, while his head was still facing the TV. He let out a cry of surprise when a hand grabbed him from behind and pulled him into the bathroom. He watched as Sora closed the door behind them and proceeded to kiss him.
Agumon looked up from the TV screen when he began to hear strange sounds coming out of the bathroom. He smiled and said, "They have begun the fun." When Biyomon heard what Agumon had said, she also gave him a seductive look. "Well, I'm bored of this video game now." She said as she stressed that her wings are not pressing the buttons too well, but actually, she was only covering her true motive. When Agumon nodded and proceeded to go turn the TV off, she pounced on him from behind and things all went downhill that night.
Sora woke up the next morning refreshed and in a very good mood. "Wow, that was a great experience last night!" She thought as she looked at James sleeping soundly in bed. "He deserves to do get that reward. After all, he did almost everything when we got off the plane." She thought some more as she laid her head on James' shoulders as she decided to relax for a little longer. "Until he awakes…" She whispered as she closed her eyes once more.
An hour had passed and James and Sora left their hotel room with their digimon to go to the hotel restaurant to have their continental breakfast. James and Sora walked down the hallway hand in hand slowly as they watched their digimon trotted down towards the food. "Digimon. They'll always very hungry in the morning." James commented as Sora giggled at the comment. The couple was shown to their table and they ordered their breakfasts. The digimon were permitted to seat on the chairs as well and they ordered much more food than their human companions.
A half hour had passed since breakfast and James led Sora to the beach. "Let's go kayaking." James suggested. Sora was a little nervous at the idea and replied with a shudder. "I don't know…what if I can't peddle strong enough and we get swept out to sea?" James laughed at his wife's comment and kissed her on the cheek. "Don't worry honey, you'll be in the front, I'll be in the back. The person on the back usually needs to peddle harder to ensure we don't lose control. I'll make sure we'll be able to make it back on shore." Sora then nodded reluctantly and went back to the hotel room with James to change into their swim clothes.
At the beach, James rented a 4-person kayak after Biyomon and Agumon had decided to join in. James carried the kayak with Agumon supporting it from behind. It looked really awkward as it was carried in a slanted way, especially with Agumon struggling with the weight from behind. James let the Kayak into the water and directed Agumon to get in the front. "I need a slightly stronger person at the helm. The back limits steering a bit. Sora, Biyomon, you two get in the middle seats." And once the 3 of them were seated, James grabbed the back of the kayak while holding the oars in his right hand. He pushed with all his strength as he pushed the kayak all the way into the water. He hopped on into his seat and began to row the kayak with the others.
James directed Agumon as the four of them rowed around the perimeter of the resort's coast. "Turn right! Turn right!" James shouted as he began doing the turning maneuvers from the rear. "I can't!" Agumon shouted as he struggled to handle the oars to shift the kayak to the right. "You're weak!" James shouted back as he suddenly slammed the oar into the left side and pushed hard. Using a lot of his strength, he managed to help Agumon turn the kayak to the right.
One hour later, the kayak had returned to the shore. As soon as the small boat came to a stop, Agumon hopped off and kissed the ground. He panted with exhaustion. "Bad idea! Bad idea!" He ranted on and on. Sora had fun as she realized that being in the middle, the energy required to row was very low. Even Biyomon had a good time. James however was just as tired as he had to do everything for Agumon for the other half of the hour they were in the kayak.
Later that day, the couple had finished their lunch and was enjoying a session in the massage parlor. Agumon and Biyomon were allowed back into the room to watch TV. The couple just talked cheerfully as they got the much-needed release for their sore muscles. James smiled and said, "I'm really happy you married me. You're the perfect one for me." Sora giggled and said that she was very happy too, and she said that she would always love him. So, after the massage was over, the two of them went back to their room, with James giving Sora a piggyback ride. Later that night, they had more "fun."
The days of their vacation passed quickly as they enjoyed the services and fun things to do in Hawaii. They took a chopper over to Oahu to see Pearl Harbor one day, while the other day, they visited the locals and their Luau's. On the last day, Sora and James had another day of relaxation at the hotel. They had a romantic time during their honeymoon and they just tried to make the best out of it on the last day. They went to bed very happy that night, holding each other very tightly.
The next day, the couple and their digimon packed their bags and checked out of the hotel. They got to the airport and after checking in their luggage, they boarded the plane a few minutes later. The flight home was mostly uneventful except the occasional growling of the digimons' tummies. But the most unusual thing was right after they landed, Sora began to feel a little nauseous. "Maybe you're having a little motion sickness." James said as he tried to comfort her. "Yea, maybe." She said as they got off the plane a moment later.
Later that day at their apartment, Sora's feelings of nausea got much worse. Even after downing a dose of pepto-bismo, she still felt sick. James suggested that she go see a doctor right away and he took her to the hospital, because he was very concerned for her health. Later that night, as the doctor came to both Sora and James, and explained of her condition. "Well…there's nothing really wrong with you. No food poisoning, no excessive acidic foods…but there is something in the way…" The doctor explained. Sora asked what is the 'thing' in the way. "Well…let me put it this way…it's a parasite." Sora and the digimon began to panic in fear. "What sort of parasite?" She asked in concern. Only James had figured it out and he was calmly smiling. "Well…the perfectly natural one, of course. Mrs. Tseng…you're pregnant. Congratulations." Sora's look of concern left and was replaced by a smile and cry of joy.
So, that night, James carried his wife home along with the prescription that will help ease her nausea symptoms. They were very happy as they were going to have a child together. However, James thought about something that will happen in the road ahead and he just shuddered a little, making sure that Sora did not notice it. "During the time that she will be pregnant, her hormones will be going out of whack…I think I will need Agumon as a shield just in case." They got in the car and drove home later, as their lives began to unfold.
A/N: And that's the end of this story. Thank you for reading. I know…you probably want to read about the kid. Well…this is only the end of the first story. I'm actually getting the sequel to this story underway. It will cover the 9 months of Sora's pregnancy, the weddings of several other digidestineds characters and the fun life of Sora and James Tseng. Thank you for reading and please stayed tuned for the release of the sequel!
