A/N: I just finished the last book of the series yesterday. Wow. It was really great. Pita Ten is one of the best manga series out there, in my opinion. Plus, the art is beautiful. Anyway, so this is my little story. I hope you enjoy it! Please read and review! Thanks!

Beautiful

Kotarou lay in bed quietly, thinking, as he listened to his loud alarm clock sound its annoying buzzes, happily greeting him and the new day. Kotarou wasn't especially happy about the alarm's whines, especially since it was a Monday and all, but he had to get up whether he liked it or not. It was a good thing that Kotarou was good at that.

….Somehow, Kotarou had managed to get used to the fact that Misha would no longer be able to visit him and pop up in the window while he was at school, or hang onto him as he walked home, or try to help him study even though Misha wasn't very good at. And even though back then all of those things seemed to be so annoying, Kotarou wished that Misha didn't have to go. He wished that he could just share a moment with her one last time…

….But Kotarou would always keep Misha alive in his heart….

Because when the rain poured down, Kotarou knew that it was Misha, crying for him. And when the sun shone through his window, Kotarou knew it was Misha, saying hello to him with that savored smile. And when a new flower bloomed, Kotarou knew that it was Misha who had helped it grow. And when the stars shined their brightest, they were Misha's eyes, watching over him. And when the moonlight peeked through Kotarou's curtains at night, he knew it was Misha, saying good night to him. It was Misha who helped him carry himself through the day. Because Misha was the sun, the moon, the stars, the rain, the clouds in the sky, the grass, the gentle wind, the smile on Kotarou's face…

…And even though Kotarou couldn't see her, he knew she was there. Because Misha had taken care of him. Because Misha had brought happiness into his lonely life. Because Misha was Kotarou's heart and soul. Because Misha was everything and everywhere.

Because…Misha gave Kotarou the wings to fly…and the heart to go on. And to Kotarou…it was beautiful.
