I Tell You, Kemp!
Disclaimer: I do not own The Invisible Man in the sense that the story was made entirely my H.G. Wells, master of the sci-fi, however I do own a lovely 10th anniversary copy!
I tell you, Kemp,
It is not hard,
To hoodwink and foil,
Scotland Yard,
The coppers are a dull race,
A man like me can win the chase!
I tell you, Kemp,
It is easy,
To be a terror of state,
But it's not for the queasy!
Much knowledge of weaponry you need,
To commit the appropriate reign or terror deed!
And let me say just how it is,
And how it will be,
Do not worry about my safety,
Forever invincible I'll be!
I'll tell you, Kemp,
I'm tired now,
Of guns and mobs and such,
I just want the rest the a bed will allow,
And a breakfast to add to the touch,
Oh, I need a break!
I'll finish when I awake!
I tell you, Kept,
I'm serious!
I'm not fooling any more,
Stop making this fuss!
Step away from the phone at least,
I hope you've not called the policeā¦
You did? Oh dear!
Bang!
