Summary: Harm/Mac thingie
Disclaimer: Paul Brandt sings this song, and JAG ain't mine, or else it wouldn't be going to hell like it is now. See author's note.
A/N: Well...I found this laying around on my PC, so I thought I'd post it. I don't know if I will write any new stuff though. I just...well I am losing faith in JAG, the writers and the entire storyline. Changing everything, after such an amazing run as JAG has had, is cause for disaster. You can't change this all up, without losing all the loyal people that have stuck with it for so long. And JAG, and its actors don't deserve that. It deserves to end the same way it began...with Harm. If he wants JAG to be in San Diego, then he should end JAG this year, the way it is...and go all CSI and have a JAG: San Diego. That's all I have to say about that. OK...well I just wanted to let everyone know that I don't think I can write anymore JAG fanfiction, but if I come across something good enough to post on my hard drive, I'll post it. I've just lost all my inspiration for this fandom. I am writing for NCIS, MASH and ER now...wow...I like anagrams lol:)
Now on with the story!
She walked out onto the dance floor in her white bridal gown, meeting him in the center of the dance floor, in his dress whites. She met his smile with one of her own as he took her hand and they began to dance. She felt his arms pull her tighter as they swirled around the dance floor.
"I've seen the storm clouds in your past
But rest assured 'cause you are safe at home at last
I rescued you, you rescued me
And we're right where we should be when we're together."
He looked into her eyes and she smiled, tears welling up behind her chocolate orbs. She lay her head on his shoulder, and they continued dancing, as he gently rubbed her back in time with the music. She sighed softly as she gently ran her finger up and down the back of his neck.
"I know the questions in your mind
But go ahead and ask me one more time
You'll find the answer's still the same
It won't change from day to day for worse or better"
He gently kissed the top of her head, as they swayed back and forth. He knew of her questions, because he had spent all night on the phone, convincing her that his answers were the truth. He began to quietly sing to her as they danced.
"Will I promise to be your best friend
And am I here until the end
Can I be sure I have been waiting for you
And did I say my love is true
Baby I will, I am, I can, I have, I do"
She lifted her head to smile at him as he sang, knowing that she had asked him these questions over and over the night before...because she was scared. But she knew he loved her, and she him, and he promised her that he would always be there.
"I know the time will disappear
But this love we're building on will always be here
No way that this is sinking sand
On this solid rock we'll stand forever"
They thought about all the time they had lost already, and all the time that they had left, which was unknown to all but God. They knew they had to make the most of the time they had left, and they weren't about to let anymore time slip away. And they looked in each others eyes and began to sing together, to each other.
"Will I promise to be your best friend
And am I here until the end
Can I be sure I have been waiting for you
And did I say my love is true
Baby I will, I am, I can, I have, I do"
"I love you Harmon Rabb." Sarah smiled as she kissed her husband.
"And I love you Sarah Rabb."
The End
