Chapter 1
Splashing water on a slightly pale face and looking into the mirror she could see her reflection. The brown eyes were dull and her face paler than normal. "What have you done to yourself Virginia Weasley," she asked herself quietly as the motion of the compartment caused her to collide with the sink's edge.
She was on the Hogwarts Express on her way to school for her fifth year. The reflection frowned back at her as she inspected her face. Her red hair had befallen the curly look of her mother's. Ginny had long since thought it made her face look very fat. By her fifth year she still had no grown into her long limbs. Her chest remained quite flat, all though her mother made her suffer the purchase of her first bra. It was humiliating to wear something that didn't help her have any bigger a chest.
Fred and George had snapped the bra many times causing her to yelp and blush. They managed to do it at least two times when Harry was around. Even if she told Hermione that she didn't still have feelings for the ebony haired teen she couldn't lie to herself. Throughout the many male companions she had gone through she couldn't shake the feelings for Harry.
She had scrawled many times in the margin of her notes during her fourth year, Mrs. Virginia Potter. When she heard the news of his kiss with Cho Chang she could feel her heart break. The pain that engulfed her made her lose interest in everything unless she was around him. During their battle to get to the Department of Mysteries to save Sirius, she had found an immense pleasure in turning Malfoy's face to a bundle of bats. Her newest escape became reading like Hermione.
She rubbed her sore middle as the she turned away from her reflection. With the return of the school year she had become a ghost. Her brother, Hermione and Harry had once again ceased to know she was alive. Unless she managed to do something wrong, they never spoke.
The lights in the swaying bathroom flickered out as the train sped into a tunnel. Ginny took a deep breath and made her way in the direction of the door. Her pathway was obstructed with a different solid object that did not move when she pushed. This one, with further exploration, stopped in either direction at about a foot and a half. She slid her slender fingers upwards and yelped at the face that glared at her as the lights flooded the small space with light.
Ginny pulled her hands away and tucked them behind her back. She had just felt up her first love's enemy, Draco Malfoy. The platinum hair was slightly ruffled and covered one grayed eye. "Oops," she mused.
His thin lips half curled in a snarl. Malfoy brushed past her and washed his hands. "Muggle loving filth has touched my fingers, the horror." His distaste was evident as Ginny listened. She watched his backside for a moment and then slipped out the door.
